Connor Franta

Connor Joel Franta was born in Wisconsin, on September 12, 1992 and shortly after his birth, his family moved to La Crescent, Minnesota, where he grew up. Over the past few years, Connor has made himself an internet icon through the making of YouTube videos. In August of 2010 Connor uploaded his first video to his YouTube channel "ConnorFranta" out of his interest in the concept and also boredom. Little did he know his channel would only grow from there. He quickly started to gain viewers and subscribers, eventually securing a partnership with YouTube. Making videos has not only become his career, but his passion. With over 4 million subscribers, he has made himself extremely well-known on the internet. Out of the many great things that have come from his YouTube career, two major ones are the movie O2L Forever (2015), a film based off of the YouTube collaboration channel in which he was a member of, and also for his New York Times best selling memoir, A Work in Progress (2015).
