The actor will be playing Amber Oliveras, described as a "Special Agent, Drug Enforcement Agency with 14 years on the job. Undercover in multiple operations. BBC Making Sarah Everard Documentary
The BBC is making a documentary about the investigation into the tragic murder of Sarah Everard, which led to a major reckoning over misogyny and bad behavior in London’s Metropolitan police force. Sarah Everard: The Search For Justice looks into Everard’s murder, how the devastating crime unfolded and its impact. Everard was killed by a serving police officer, Wayne Couzens, who abducted her as she walked home in March 2021, and this became a watershed moment for the nation. There were mass protests against male violence towards women and the narrative of ‘one bad apple’ in the police force was destroyed. The force was placed in special measures and a major review of the Met Police found a culture of denial, widespread bullying, discrimination, institutional homophobia, misogyny and racism. BBC Studios is behind the single doc, which is being EP-d by Emily Lawson and Kirsty Cunningham.

The Flash arrived on the CW as an antidote to the heavy, bleak world of Arrow. Our Scarlet Speedster was going to be a bright, upbeat superhero series and it was—at first. With each successive season, it grew bleaker and more chaotic as an overstuffed cast all demanded screentime and the writing staff never seemed to grasp that there were other villains than those connected to the Speed Force.
The 2022-23 television season brought us The Flash’s ninth and final season, providing a chance to give closure to the core characters. Tomorrow, Warner Home Entertainment releases The Flash: The Complete Ninth and Final Season.
Across the truncated season, everyone had a moment to shine, get their due, take a bow and move aside so the Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Nora West Allen (Candice Patton) center got to have the last word as they finally welcomed Nora to the preset.

The Flash is currently in the midst of its ninth and final season, but the series finale is quickly approaching. While speaking with TVLine, The Flash star Grant Gustin answered fan questions, including if he was happy with where Barry Allen ends up at the end of the series.
Grant Gustin replied that he was, but shared that he always imagined the series ending with Barry’s death. “When I thought about [The Flash] ending, there was a theory out there that Barry would sacrifice himself to keep the Speed Force alive and become the lightning bolt that inevitably struck him [in the pilot] and create this full circle moment, which I thought was really cool,” Gustin said. “I kinda always wanted him to die a hero’s death in a way, and Eric [Wallace] was very opposed to the idea, and we really wanted to see a happy ending for Barry and Iris.

Several The Flash cast members celebrate the official wrapping of the series finale. It's the end of an era for the Arrowverse as The Flash season 9 will conclude the last Earth-Prime-based series in the franchise. By the time The Flash season 9 finishes its run on The CW, it will be the longest-running Arrowverse series, surpassing even Arrow. For the final season, The Flash season 9 was picked up for 13 episodes, making it the shortest season in the show's history. Currently, four episodes have aired of The Flash's swan-song season, with next week wrapping up the Red Death storyline.
The Flash series finale has been worked on for a few weeks, with Vanessa Parise helming the final episode. While the title hasn't been revealed for episode 13, it was written by showrunner Eric Wallace and Sam Chalsen. The Flash continues to raise the stakes in its final season, revealing the true identity of the villainous Red Death, putting both Barry and Iris in mortal danger, and unleashing a deranged Ryan Wilder from another timeline on Central City after Team Flash thwarts her efforts to build a cosmic treadmill to send herself home.
Played by Batwoman’s Javicia Leslie, who gets to be both cunning and crazy by turns this week as a Batwoman who was raised by the Waynes and developed a dangerous obsession with her enemies’ technology and a bone-deep hatred of her world’s Flash, Red Death may be a speedster, but she’s certainly not like any villain Team Flash has seen before.

The final season of The Flash just revealed the identity of its main antagonist, the Red Death, marking the return of a very familiar face to the Arrowverse. As the series approaches the end of its nine-year run, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash are about to face one of their deadliest enemies yet, a speedster powered by the Negative Speedforce and sporting a suit with a distinct bat symbol. Barry Allen forms his own team of Rogues in The Flash season 9, episode 3 trailer. The Arrowverse is getting closer to finishing its longest-running series in the Greg Berlanti-produced franchise. The Flash season 9, which recently premiered this month, is telling Barry Allen's final story in the Arrowverse. With a shortened season, the show starring Grant Gustin only has 11 episodes left to wrap up its remaining storylines for Team Flash. One of the first big bads this year is a new take on Red Death, who is one of the big speedster foes from the comics.
However, Red Death isn't the only supervillain that Central City is getting invaded by in The Flash season 9. With the introduction of a new Captain Boomerang and Fiddler, the Rogues are slowly coming together again.
But as Red Death has her own set of Rogues, The Flash season 9, episode 3 will see Barry forming his batch of Rogues.

What a tumultuous time it is to be a fan of DC TV and movies. Aside from the fact that the Dceu was a mass of chaotic energy almost from the word go, there’s also been the ongoing confusion about the multiversal aspects: the multiple Batmen and Jokers, the fact that the TV shows have nothing to do with the movies, the fact that entire movies simply ceased to exist and were banished to limbo after they had already wrapped, never to be seen by mortal eyes.
And then there have been the rumors (so many rumors), the false starts, and the closing of longstanding movie and TV legacies as new DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran begin to lay out their own new vision for their Dcu of the future.
Despite all of that, 2023 is a veritable bounty of riches for fans of DC movies and TV shows.
