‘Whisper of the Witch’ Trailer – Russian Supernatural Horror Possesses VOD Next Month

An ancient evil will unleash a sound to die for in Whisper of the Witch.

The Russian supernatural horror film hits Digital on August 19 via Well Go USA. It will also be available on Blu-ray and DVD exclusively through Amazon the same day.

After a group of teenagers breaks into an abandoned mansion on the edge of town, a mysterious evil arrives, and one of them winds up dead. Detectives from the city are called in to investigate the crime, one with a history with the malevolent force that possesses this manor, and he’s determined to learn the mystery of the witch of Merden Manor.

Past collides with present as a phonograph, an altar, and the Whisper of the Witch condemn them all.

An ancient spirit feeds on fear and brings out the darkest side in people when it takes human form in The Demoness.

Formerly titled Succubus, the Russian horror film hits Digital on February 11 from Well Go USA. A Blu-ray and DVD release follows on May 27 exclusively through Amazon.

An erotic island retreat plays host to an exclusive couple’s retreat designed to rekindle the flames of passion. When Stacy and her boyfriend arrive, the sexy fun is quickly interrupted by a malevolent entity that feeds on their pain.

Project Gemini is the latest genre film to come out of Russia. I’ve reviewed several Russian science fiction films from Attraction to Sputnik to The Blackout with very mixed results. The trailer, and the fact that Well Go USA had picked it up for US and Canadian release, convinced me to give it a look.

Three years after a deadly virus has destroyed much of Earth’s plant life humanity’s fate rests on a pair of alien artefacts uncovered by scientists and kept secret until now. A revolutionary engine that makes deep space travel feasible, and an orb that may have been the seed that brought life to Earth. With this, they plan to create a new home for mankind.
