Brent Spiner quotes Sean Connery in regard to portraying Data in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Picard. Spiner began portraying Lt. Commander Data on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the lovable android became one of the show's most popular characters. Despite his heroic death in Star Trek: Nemesis, Data made a triumphant return in Star Trek: Picard season 3, reuniting with his former USS Enterprise-d crew members.

Complete with an upgraded android body with the ability to experience emotions, Data finally achieved his lifelong dream of becoming (almost) human. Still, it remains to be seen what his Star Trek future holds. In a recent appearance on The Sackhoff Show, Brent Spiner spoke to host Katee Sackhoff about portraying Data and why he decided to reprise the role in Picard season 3. Chicago Med is closing in on its season 10 finale, but first, we have to get through the fallout of the penultimate season 10 episode, "Baby Mine..." There was plenty going on at Gaffney, but the most pressing storyline revolved around Dr. Caitlin Lenox (Sarah Ramos) and the unsettling allegations made against her coworker and romantic interest, Dr. Hayes (Brendan Hines).

Before we dug into that drama, we got some lighter fare with Dr. Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell). He had been tasked with watching his godson, but the child could not go more than a few seconds without crying if he wasn't being held. Naturally, this proved an issue for Ripley, who was dealing with patients at the same time. This was a charming bit on the surface, but actually proved to be foreshadowing for a truly massive revelation at the end of the episode.

Caitlin Lenox enters the picture in unexpected fashion.

One Chicago has done an excellent job of cultivating different flavors for its three shows. Chicago Fire is the ambitious, multi-faceted thriller that offers death-defying feats, Chicago Med is the talky one-location drama, and Chicago Pd offers intrigue and grim investigations. Every once in a while, though the thematic interests of these shows align, and that is where we will find ourselves on May 14.

The promos for all three shows have been released, and we couldn't help but notice that each of them feature nearly identical stories involving corruption and a quest to expunge the person who's abusing their power. Chicago Med is playing this out with Hayes (Brendan Hines) after its alleged the doctor sexually harassed Cardiothoracic Resident Naomi Howard (Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut).

Dr. Hayes has clearly determined that he's above punishment, which is what makes the upcoming case in "Baby Mine..." such a big deal. Dr. Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson...

Dr. Caitlin Lenox (Sarah Ramos) have repeatedly proven herself to be a capable force on Chicago Med. The character has been around for less than a season, and has already vaunted herself to the front of the line when it comes to diagnosing tricky ailments. It's Lenox's personal life that's taken a nosedive, however, and will continue to do so in the upcoming episode "Baby Mine..."

The promo for "Baby Mine..." confirms that Lenox will be forced to confront her relationship with Dr. Hayes (Brendan Hines), a man who reportedly sexually harassed a co-worker. Lenox rarely tolerates nonsense or unethical behavior, but Hayes has repeatedly been someone who has served as a sort of kryptonite for her. Lenox not only put up with Dr. Hayes' flirtatious behavior in the workplace, she entertained it. She even planned to go to Myrtle Beach with him before the allegations came to light.

After what has felt like an eternity, NBC has finally pulled off a new One Chicago crossover event bringing together the stars of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago Pd… or at least most of the characters.

Heading into the three-part crossover event, fans were eager to find out which characters would be participating in the One Chicago crossover. It quickly became clear that the plan was for most of the casts of the shows to appear; however, in speaking with the creative teams behind the shows, One Chicago Center was able to confirm a few key characters would be absent from the crossover event including both series regular and recurring characters who have been active parts of the show’s current seasons.

One of the most notable absences from the crossover is Joe Minoso’s Joe Cruz, who played a key role in past crossovers as a long-time member of Chicago Fire.

The USS Enterprise-d of Star Trek: The Next Generation was missing one element that every other Starship Enterprise has had.
