Elizabeth Harvest, a film from Venezuelan filmmaker Sebastian Gutierrez (Hotel Noir), is gearing up for a home entertainment release. LevelFilm will handle this indie horror film's Digital launch, while Shout Factory delivers the DVD and Blu-ray. Already having premiered at the SXSW Film Festival earlier this year, Elizabeth Harvest offers mystery as one woman (Abbey Lee) explores her new home. Somewhat reminiscent of Alex Garland's Ex Machina (2015), the film's central character questions her husband's (Ciarán Hinds) work. More release details, on Elizabeth Harvest, are hosted here. The trailer offers forbidden fruit. Elizabeth is told not to enter one room, in her modern home. Curious, Elizabeth investigates the chamber, once her husband leaves. But, what is inside? An early review, at Cultured Vultures claims the film is unpredictable. Events do not play out as one might expect: "Sebastian Gutierrez... leads you one way then changes direction on a dime." Reviewer Michael Glover.
