The women of WWE saw the return of the historic Evolution 2025 Premium Live Event that took place on July 13 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Crunchyroll has announced a special line of merchandise for the summer convention circuit in collaboration with professional wrestler and well-documented anime fan Mercedes Moné (formerly known as Sasha Banks during her run with WWE). The line of Crunchyroll-exclusive clothing features anime-themed Mercedes Moné branding and will be sold in person this summer at San Diego Comic Con and at pro wrestling convention Starrcast.

The Mercedes Moné line of merch from Crunchyroll is also available online via the Crunchyroll Store.

Mercedes Moné is the master of the multi-hyphenate. She’s a world champion across multiple wrestling companies -- most prominently Aew, where she’ll co-main-event the flagship All In this Saturday. She’s also an actor, most notably appearing in The Mandalorian. Now, per an official press release, Moné can add "Crunchyroll collaborator" to her growing résumé.

Moné and Crunchyroll have announced they are tag-teaming on a limited-edition apparel line celebrating the modern wrestling icon in true anime style. The collection is being sold exclusively at the Crunchyroll Store and Starrcast Texas, a fan convention held this Friday and Saturday, July 11 and 12, in the shadow of Aew: All In Texas, the wrestling company’s Super Bowl-equivalent. Bruce Springsteen may have been born to run, but he also has a side hobby in snooping around on movie sets. The Boss would often make himself at home during production of upcoming film Deliver Me From Nowhere, visiting the filming locations — particularly in New Jersey — fairly often. And while he put himself in a position where he had to witness some bizarro version of his life, he did also get to see some excellent talent portraying it.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Bruce Springsteen admitted that there could be some awkward moments while cameras rolled on Deliver Me From Nowhere (officially retitled so Bruce’s name precedes) but had faith in the likes of Jeremy Allen White and Jeremy Strong, who play The Boss and manager Jon Landau. “I mean, there’s some unusualness to it because the movie involves, in some ways, some of the most painful days of my life.

The WWE Universe wanted the company to go all in for Mercedes Mone when her contract was almost about to end. However, things never really materialised and eventually, Mone was heading to Aew, which was possibly one of their biggest signings of recent times. Her arrival at the company established her as one of the biggest guns in the women’s division.

Mercedes Mone, popularly known as Sasha Banks in WWE, secured a massive chapter in her life as she won the Cmll World Women’s Championship at the expense of Zeuxis. This ended a 278-day reign for the latter, underlining the transcendence of Mone to almost unimaginable ranks of conquest. The victory for Mercedes Mone meant that she set up a world record which the other wrestling icons in the women’s division can only dream of.

It comes as no surprise that women’s wrestling is not on par with men’s wrestling and how numerous wrestlers have worked tirelessly to make the division a main attraction in WWE. Names like Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks are written in golden letters for leading the Women’s Revolution. However, there were some veterans who were forgotten; one such name is Natalya Neidhart, or simply Natalya.

In May 2022, Sasha Banks, now Mercedes Moné, and Naomi made news after exiting a WWE “Monday Night Raw” filming for a number of reasons, but primarily a creative direction WWE had taken that neither they nor the fans liked or agreed with. They had recently won the Women’s Tag Team Championships and did not want to get split up so quickly in favor of a creative direction.

It would be fair to say the fans still carry that news in their minds as of May 2025. Fans have called WWE’s actions and whatever was done thereafter “pure evil.” WWE used Becky Lynch to make jokes and mock Sasha and Naomi for their decision, and it has really left a sour taste in a lot of fans’ mouths. It is absolutely crazy what has happened to everyone involved since that time.

Despite showrunner Joanna Calo recently declaring the fourth season would debut on June 15, it has now been confirmed via a report from Variety that the critical and audience smash-hit series The Bearwill actually debut its fourth season on June 25, ten days later than first suggested. From 5 p.m. Pt/8 p.m. Et on June 25, all ten episodes in the upcoming season will debut on Hulu, with Disney+ hosting the series internationally.

A year has passed since The Bear's third season became the lowest-rated of the series on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, with many citing issues with pacing and tone as reasons for the drop-off in quality. Still, that won't stop millions of fans from tuning in and likely binge-watching all ten episodes in one serving upon its debut, with the aforementioned Calo, creator Christopher Storer, and others behind the series hoping to regain the once-spotless reputation the comedy/drama had.

Pro-wrestling has seen some incredible stars in the making regarding the women’s division. Saraya-Jade Bevis, aka Paige, has revolutionised WWE’s women’s roster before taking a brief hiatus from the sport. Bruce Springsteen has unearthed a stirring song called “Faithless,” which will appear on his upcoming compilation Tracks II: The Lost Albums, out June 27th (pre-order here).

“Faithless” was originally intended as the title track of a soundtrack for a film that was never completed. Springsteen wrote and recorded much of the song and soundtrack in between the conclusion of the “Devils & Dust” tour in November 2005 and the release of “We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions” in April 2006. Springsteen claims he wrote the entire soundtrack for the film before it began production; the full soundtrack for the “spiritual Western” film included four instrumental pieces and featured a similarly meditative tone to “Faithless.”

Sasha Banks was one of the biggest names in WWE’s women’s division, but had to leave the company along with Naomi in May 2022 because of creative indifference with Vince McMahon. Though Naomi made a comeback to the promotion in the recent Royal Rumble, Banks chose to move to Japan and join the New Japan Pro Wrestling (Njpw).

Vaquer was one of the biggest acquisitions made by the company last year. Vaquer’s road to the WWE has been pretty long. She traversed continents and faced numerous opponents before she came to Nxt. From Cmll to Aew, wrestling fans have seen her grow and become one of the best women wrestlers in the world.

Held on April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, this year’s event had the wrestling world on edge, eager for those unforgettable moments that make WrestleMania legendary.

All Elite Wrestling (Aew) and its weekly Wednesday night show “Dynamite” are set to pass a major milestone in the pro wrestling world.

The April 16 episode of “Dynamite” on TBS will mark the show’s 289th, meaning it has officially aired longer than the 288 episodes produced by WCW’s “Monday Nitro,” which aired on fellow Turner network TNT from 1995-2001.

“It had a major influence on anyone that was watching wrestling at that time,” Aew president, CEO and general manager Tony Khan said of “Nitro” in an interview with Variety. “Some of the real highlights of ’90s professional wrestling happened on that show.”

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew’s, Collision, which brings wrestling back to Saturday nights. We’ve got the commentary team of Tony Schiavone, and Nigel McGuiness calling the action, so let’s get into our review!

White and Knight went move for move during the opening minutes of the match. Jay White chopped at Kevin after being brought down by Kevin’s hurracanrana. Jay White grounded Kevin with a dragon screw leg whip. White followed up with a brain buster for a near fall. Jay White punished Knight with a barrage of chops. Kevin rallied back with a high dropkick, going into orbit! Kevin hit the UFO splash and then connected with a thrust kick. Kevin Knight shoved his way out of the Blade Runner. Jay White ducked a lariat and countered with a flatliner.

Fans were ecstatic when Naomi finally returned to WWE. With an electrifying presence and athleticism pieced together, she is most definitely one of the most loved superstars in WWE history. She’s truly a one-of-a-kind performer who connects to the WWE Universe on a level that no one else can.

Fans were largely disappointed when Sasha Banks did not appear with former tag partner Naomi, but the return of the Smackdown star is still one to be celebrated. Always a difference maker and special attraction between the ropes, Naomi’s return to Smackdown shows she is back and ready to return to her rightful place atop the throne.

Saraya-Jade Bevis, better known as Paige/Saraya, has been wrestling for almost two decades. Born into a wrestling family, Saraya debuted at the age of 13. Her family was considered “crazy,” and they were. Saraya’s mother was a wrestler, and her father was a wrestling promoter.

They were accused of abusing trainees in their academy, among other things. A documentary on them called Wrestlers: Fighting with my Family was also released. Despite all of that craziness, Saraya rose in the industry rapidly.

She signed with WWE at 18 and became part of a budding women’s division at Nxt. As Paige, she was the first-ever Nxt Women’s Champion. Then, on her main roster debut, she won the now-defunct Divas Title. Post her 2014-15 run, where she won 2 titles and became the head of her faction (Pcb), she couldn’t sustain her momentum. Injuries and suspensions slowed her down.

Filming was expected to begin in June 2024, making it the first Star Wars film to move forward since The Rise of Skywalker in 2019.

Filming began under the working title Thunder Alley in June 2024 and lasted 92 days. The production had a large team, with 54 cast members, 3,500 extras, and 500 crew members.

Varnado recently appeared on Sackhoff's podcast, The Sackhoff Show, and weighed in on Koska Reeves' future in the franchise.
