Assassinaut VOD and Blu-ray Release Details: "Coming July 30th to VOD and Blu-Ray from Dread is the very space-ial horror-thriller, Assassinaut!

In the near future, aliens have invaded Earth and declared a galactic war resulting in thousands of human casualties. To save Earth, a team of four teenage astronauts braves the alien wilderness of a distant planet to stop an assassin from changing the course of history forever.

Assassinaut is written and directed by Drew Bolduc, starring Vito Trigo (Return to Nuke 'Em High), Johnathan Newport (Permanent), Shannon Hutchinson, Jasmina Parent, and Yael Haskal.

Assassinaut Puts Four Explorers through a Meat Grinder in this Red Band Trailer
The indie sci-fi thriller Assassinaut is set to blast off this Summer. Epic Pictures will handle the release. In the film, aliens have invaded the Earth and four desperate astronauts are needed to save humanity. On a distant planet, they must deal with a new threat, a stalking assassin. This title was written and directed by Drew Bolduc. The film stars: Vito Trigo (Return to Nuke 'Em High), Jonathan Newport (Permanent), Shannon Hutchinson and several others. Today, a trailer was released for Assassinaut and the clip can be found here. The film utilizes a lot of make-up effects. In the trailer, faces melt off or creatures are found within some of the characters. The assassin goes about his work, after the four astronauts land on the new planet. And, this quartet might not be prepared for what is coming next. Epic Pictures will release Assassinaut in a couple of formats.

Assassinaut Review: A Crazy Movie That Could Have Been Crazier
Dread Presents is bringing horror fans a variety of new movies to check out this year, and among them is Assassinaut. From writer and director Drew Bolduc, the interestingly-titled movie is a bit of a sci-fi adventure movie with some slasher elements mixed in. Starring Shannon Hutchinson, Vito Trigo, Jasmina Parent, Yael Haskal, and Johnathan Newport, the movie is probably not going to be like any other film you might have seen recently. However, some pacing issues and budgetary concerns seem to keep it from reaching its full potential.

In Assassinaut, an extra-terrestrial species has apparently invaded Earth, and the attack results in mass human casualties. Described as taking place in the near future, a team of four teenage astronauts travel to a presidential space station, which soon comes under siege.
