Mehmet Simsek

He was born in 1983 in Sivas Divrigi as the second child of a miner father and a housewife mother. With the desire for art that he discovered from an early age, he was interested in theater and cinema. He acted in local and regional theater plays, wrote and directed. He is also a teacher of Turkish Language and Literature and a graduate of Istanbul University Faculty of Communication. He has one daughter and is married to musician and baglama player Isil Kucuk.
