The official website for the upcoming TV anime Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games released a teaser trailer today, alongside announcing initial staff members for the series and two new voice cast members. The anime adaptation of Eri Ejima's fighting game-themed comedy manga series is set to premiere in 2025 . The trailer shows the two main characters, Aya Mistuki (voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa) and Mio Yorue (voiced by Kana Ichinose), playing Street Fighter 6 , the latest entry in Capcom's internationally popular Street Fighter fighting game series, in a heated competition. Bandai Namco Pictures has announced that "Kirakkira!," a special event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Aikatsu! anime series' "Akari Generation" arc at Yokohama Buntai in Kanagawa Prefecture on Sunday, December 15, 2024. "Akari Generation" is the name of the second half of the Aikatsu! TV anime series, featuring the second protagonist, Akari Ozora. The first episode of the arc (102nd in total), "Aikatsu Shiyou☆Ready Go!!" aired in Japan just ten years ago, on October 2, 2014. Akari originally admires Ichigo Hoshimiya, the first protagonist of the series, and enrolls in Starlight Academy to become an idol like her. She eventually forms the unit “Luminous” with Sumire Hikami and Hinaki Shinjo, and grows through idol activities that only she can do. The 10th anniversary event will include live voice recording, live singing, talk session, and much more. Toei Animation's metaverse project Onn'on Studios will hold a virtual event "Virtual Anime Fes" using VR space at 15:00-17:00 on January 27 (Jst) / 22:00-24:00 on January 26 (Pst). The event will be held at Toei Animation’s multiverse theme park ImaginaryPark2070 on VRChat, and will also be live-streamed on Toei Animation's official YouTube channel below for free. The upcoming superhero anime Shy received a new trailer revealing more details about the show, including its premiere date. Bukimi Miki's manga is set to be adapted by Eightbit, and promises to provide a new twist to the superhero genre thanks to its heroine. Shy is expected to join the Fall 2023 lineup of anime.

The newest trailer of Shy can be seen on the Emotion Label Channel YouTube channel. In it, more scenes from the anime and voice actors are revealed, expanding on the cast that was first shown in the Crunchyroll trailer. With Eightbit's slick art, Shy seems well-placed to be a hit when it premieres on October 2, 2023, on Crunchyroll.
