We're back in Jenny Han's universe after two years, and it's magical. Belly and Jeremiah are at Finch, while Conrad has been away at Stanford. Years have passed since Conrad let Belly go, and she fell in love with Jeremiah. Yet as Conrad works on his healing, Belly continues to ignore her lingering feelings.
I've been Team Conrad since I read The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy as a teenager, but as an adult, I'm realizing I should be rooting for healing and happiness instead of Jellyfish and Bonrad.
The season 3 premiere solidified my Team Conrad stance while also making it clear that Belly needs healing before choosing a brother. Even though they're young, they're moving towards their forever person. Belly knows one choice can shape her future. So why would she marry someone after such a betrayal?

At this point, fans have come to expect at least a few Taylor Swift needle drops in each season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, since author and creator of the show Jenny Han has a personal connection to this music. The songstress knows a thing or two about the complications of love, something Lola Tung’s Belly Conklin is figuring out for herself in this YA series, which will conclude with Season 3, premiering July 16 with two episodes. Han has even gotten permission to use certain songs from Swift’s rerecorded works that haven’t been released yet.
The possibilities for Season 3 seem endless. In May, the pop mastermind reclaimed ownership of her music catalog, opening the door to even more songs that might be included in the final season’s soundtrack. Let’s also not forget, Swift released a double anthology album, The Tortured Poet’s Department, in the hiatus between seasons,...

Note: This story contains spoilers from “The Summer I Turned Pretty” Season 3, Episodes 1-2.
“The Summer I Turned Pretty” is back for its third and final season, bringing Jenny Han’s beloved book trilogy to a close. But Han has teased that book fans might not know how the Prime Video series will conclude.
The author and series creator has gone off script in past seasons — most notably in crafting a romance between Belly’s best friend, Taylor (Rain Spencer), and Belly’s brother, Steven (Sean Kaufman) — but in Season 3 bringing an end to the love triangle between Belly (Lola Tung), Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), even more changes to the book “We’ll Always Have Summer” could impact the endgame.
See below for the biggest changes from the book in “The Summer I Turned Pretty” Season 3 so far. This story will be updated weekly as new episodes drop.

This post contains spoilers from The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 episode 3 from this point forward.
Following the surprising moment at the end of the two-episode season 3 premiere, which found Belly and Jeremiah getting engaged, The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 episode 3 picks up with the happy couple enjoying their secret engagement bliss. Although they're keeping their impending nuptials a secret for now, Belly can't help to share the news with Taylor, who reacts appropriately.
Like any good friend, Taylor supports Belly while also expressing her shock (and throwing in a necessary ding on the microscopic diamond ring by calling it "tinfoil"). But Taylor's reaction isn't that one that Belly and Jeremiah are dreading, since they know their parents won't be super thrilled about them 1. getting engaged and 2. planning the wedding to happen this summer.

It is true that Belly and Jeremiah are way too young to be getting married, but I wasn’t expecting Steven to have such a big problem with the whole thing. Like, dang brother, calm down a little bit. I feel like the story is progressing a little bit slowly, and since this is the final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, this one plotline is going to drag on for a bit (I really hope it doesn’t). I’m still team Jellyfish like Taylor, and I know Jeremiah’s been reckless and whatever, but he’s definitely got it in him to get his act together specifically for Belly. On the other hand, Laurel’s reaction was exactly as I imagined. Meanwhile, the drama with Taylor’s mom seems to just be an added plotline to get Taylor and Steven to work together and help Lucinda out,...

Do you know what’s difficult? Navigating a series like The Summer I Turned Pretty when you’re not invested exclusively in the love triangle.
It could be due to that sentiment that watching the two-part season three premiere was difficult at times.
One of the most irritating storytelling peeves is when a series introduces an inconsistency or contrivance solely to advance the plot.
(Erika Doss/Amazon)
As I’ve established, I’m more of a Team Therapy girl when it comes to Belly and the Fisher Boys.
I see three people who have experienced serious emotional upheaval, grief, and family dysfunction.
What they need isn’t to pick a partner but to do some serious inner work. Instead of giving these characters space to grow, the series forces them through plot mechanics designed only to elevate one relationship at the expense of character coherence.

Jenny Hanbrought us many characters we know and love. Her To All the Boys I've Loved Before series became a hit on Netflix and now, The Summer I Turned Prettybooks have been telling the story of Belly (Lola Tung) and her love for the Fisher boys on Prime Video. Heading into Season 3, fans didn't know how faithful the series would stay to the book. And one character's actions have come into question with the release of the first two episodes, and now fans want clarification on what Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) actually did to Belly.

Prime Video has released The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3, and it has already taken the top spot among the most-watched TV shows on the streaming platform. The coming-of-age romantic drama is notably based on Jenny Han's best-selling book series trilogy. Based on the story length, The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 will be the show's last.
The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 will specifically follow Belly already in college, where she's attending with her boyfriend, Jeremiah. As time goes on, Conrad will come back into the picture, forcing Belly to make a very important decision about her future during more time jumps.
It sure seems like viewers are ready to see how the love triangle plays out because, according to FlixPatrol, The Summer I Turned Pretty is already #1 on Prime Video's list of top shows.

Jenny Han has become one of the signature voices of the teenage love dramas in 2025. After the success of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, it was no surprise that The Summer I Turned Pretty blew up. However, teenage romances eventually end and evolve into adult relationships, plunging Belly (Lola Tung) and her friends into new responsibilities and unexpected surprises. While the series has always engaged in teen drama, a choice to fast-forward a little too far makes the events of the story particularly frustrating.

After Prime Video released a warning that fans would be banned for “bullying and hate speech” against the cast and crew of The Summer I Turned Pretty, its stars are weighing in.
The streamer, which dropped the first two episodes of the show’s third and final season this week, cautioned on social media, “We have a zero tolerance policy for bullying and hate speech. If you engage in any of the following you will be banned,” before listing “community guidelines” including no “hate speech or bullying,” “targeting our cast or crew” and “harassing or doxxing members of the community.” The series follows Belly, a girl caught in a love triangle between two brothers, as fans have passionately picked sides in the romance.
At the season three launch event in NYC on Wednesday, star Lola Tung told The Hollywood Reporter of the warning, “I think the discourse is great when it’s friendly and healthy,...

Spoiler Alert !!!Spoilers for season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty
The latest episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty have left fans with a lot of thoughts. While most focus on Belly and Jeremiah’s relationship and the chaos within that, the latest season has brought another couple to the forefront. Although Taylor and Steven’s relationship has been simmering beneath the surface, they seem to be in the spotlight in the final season of the show.
A moral debate is being sparked, with both still being involved with each other even though they are in separate relationships. However, the stakes were drastically raised when Steven was hit by a car, and the second episode ended with them being done for good. This is especially frustrating since Taylor wanted to be with him for good. With this, here is why Steven decided to break up with her, regardless of her feelings,...

Spoiler Alert !!!Spoilers for season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty.
The latest and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty has finally arrived. With the first two episodes available for streaming on Prime Video, the series is certainly not easing the audience into the world of Belly, Conrad, Jeremiah, and Cousins. However, with any show, it is difficult to wait when episodes end on such big cliffhangers. On this note, here is the release date of the next episode of the series.

We returned to Cousins Beach for The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 with a four-year time jump, more angst than I ever thought this series could hold, and yes, the love triangle is still messier than ever.
The two-part premiere offers up two hours of exposition-heavy content. It rushes to fill us in on what Belly and the Fisher brothers have been up to, while attempting to draw a distinction between their teenage selves and who they are now.
Does it succeed? Not entirely. But the needle drops are on point, and the episodes leave us just enough breadcrumbs to hint that this final season may be the most unhinged one yet.

The latest season of The Summer I Turned Pretty has just begun to drop, and fans have a lot of opinions. What was not expected was the season to start off with a bang, with the first two episodes not only revealing that Jeremiah cheated on Belly but also ending with them getting engaged. While fans of the books have been painfully aware of this storyline, it has come off as a great shock to fans of the show.
Audiences have a lot of thoughts about the reveal, and rightfully so. However, there is a level of speculation about the true extent of Jeremiah’s cheating. Could it be possible that he didn’t just do it once, and he actually cheated again right before the party?

Prime Video’s “The Summer I Turned Pretty” returns for its third and final season, carrying with it the weight of a generation’s romantic expectations and the peculiar burden of being both a nostalgic artifact and a contemporary cultural phenomenon. Based on Jenny Han’s beloved trilogy, this series has managed to capture something essential about how young people process love in the streaming era—not just the love between characters, but the love between audiences and the stories that shape their understanding of intimacy, choice, and identity.
The series follows Belly Conklin through her evolution from awkward teenager to college student, caught in the gravitational pull of the Fisher brothers: brooding Conrad and golden-boy Jeremiah. What began as a simple summer romance has transformed into something far more complex—a meditation on how we carry our formative relationships into adulthood, and how the stories we tell ourselves about...

Prime Video just dropped the first two episodes of the third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty and there’s one particular storyline that feels a bit too familiar.
At the end of episode one, titled “Last Season,” Belly (Lola Tung) learns that Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) had sex with another girl, Lacie Barone (Lily Donoghue), during a spring break trip to Cabo, as they had a fight before the trip and he thought they had broken up.
“It happened when we were on a break…when we were broken up,” Jeremiah explains to an angry Belly after she finds out at a frat party. Belly yells back, “You knew that we weren’t really broken up, that that wasn’t real.”
“How was I supposed to know that? It was real for me,” Jeremiah claims before Belly responds, “Well, if I knew it, then you should have known it.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3.] The Summer I Turned Pretty is back with more drama for the couples at the center of the Prime Video show’s third and final season, among which are Taylor (Rain Spencer) and Steven (Sean Kaufman), the best friend and brother of protagonist Belly (Lola Tung). While the debate over who Belly should end up with — Conrad (Christopher Briney) or Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) — rages on, one element from author Jenny Han‘s book We’ll Always Have Summer, the third installment of the trilogy, has changed quite a bit. As fans saw in the second episode of Season 3, Jeremiah proposed to his girlfriend after making up following his spring break indiscretion, but it wasn’t Belly’s hope for a brighter future that motivated the step toward marriage. Instead, it was a car accident that left Steven’s fate unclear initially. Prime Video Ultimately,...

With “The Summer I Turned Pretty” kicking off its final season, Variety is looking back at the famous love triangle’s origin story in Jenny Han’s bestselling trilogy. The third season of the Prime Video series, which follows Belly (Lola Tung) and the two loves of her life, brothers Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno), is based on Jenny Han’s third book, “We’ll Always Have Summer.”
Released in 2011, the novel picks up two years after the second, “It’s Not Summer Without You.” Belly is in a relationship with Jeremiah, but she finds out that he had slept with another girl while away for spring break. Jeremiah insists it happened while they were broken up, but Belly thinks they were just on a break (à la Rachel and Ross). Although Belly lost her virginity to Conrad in the show, in the book, she is still...

“The Summer I Turned Pretty” returned for its third and final season Wednesday, and the love triangle is not over yet.
Four years after the events of Season 2, Belly and the Fisher brothers will spend another summer at Cousins Beach. Belly (Lola Tung) just completed her junior year of college and is happily dating younger brother Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno). Though the couple’s relationship seems stronger than ever, Conrad’s appearance at the place where Belly fell in love with him reopens old wounds of her first love and heartbreak.
The third and final season brought back several returning faces but also added several new cast members. Isabella Briggs and Kristen Connolly joined the cast as series regulars. Other new faces joining Season 3 include Sofia Bryant, Lily Donoghue, Zoé de Grand’Maison, Emma Ishta and Tanner Zagarino.
New episodes of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” will stream weekly on Wednesdays on Prime Video.

In the lead-up to the season 3 premiere of Prime Video's YA hit The Summer I Turned Pretty, the show's official X account posted a warning to fans about bullying and harassment. The Summer I Turned Pretty's third and final season will reunite viewers with Belly (Lola Tung), Conrad (Christopher Briney), and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), as Belly's complicated love life is turned upside down one last time.
Many YA romance shows enjoy avid fanbases, as their younger-skewing audiences tend to spend more time on social media, creating reels, discussion posts, and TikTok edits to celebrate their favorite characters and "ships." While many fans simply want to share their enthusiasm online, some have taken to directly harassing and bullying other fans as well as the show's cast and crew throughout seasons 1 and 2.
Anticipating the return of this behavior, The Summer I Turned Pretty's social media accounts reminded fans of what the show is all about.

The ending of the first episode of season three left me wanting to pull my hair out, because what do you mean sweet boy Jere broke Belly’s heart by not telling her he slept with someone else when they were on a “break”? The Summer I Turned Pretty episode 2 drops yet another shocking surprise on us, and this time it’s not a good one. Are these kids really older, because how come they seem to be acting more immature than before? But I digress. If you’ve seen the trailer for season 3, then you probably know what’s coming at the end of this episode, which to me honestly came as a total curveball. I didn’t realize it was already that time, especially after what happened at the end of episode 1, but hey, I guess things move quickly in the “summer” universe. So with that said, let...

‘The Summer I Turned Pretty‘ is all the rage right now with its third and final season finally out for the fans. A lot of the credit for the show’s success goes to lead actress Lola Tung, who plays the role of Belly. Isabel “Belly” Conklin is stuck in a love triangle everyone would love to be a part of. On one hand, there is Conrad, and on the other is Jeremiah, the Fisher brothers.
Who will Belly choose at the end? Well, you will have to watch Season 3 for that. For now, though, let’s focus on our leading star, Lola Tung, and learn some things about her that you may not have known before!

It’s back and as dramatic as always. The Summer I Turned Pretty has finally put out its final season. In this season, we skip a few years into the future, and things are getting serious, whether it’s the kids going to college or starting off work. I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely Team Jeremiah, and I feel like the show is pushing us to dislike him. I don’t know about you, but Golden Retriever Boy’s behavior doesn’t necessarily make sense for the kind of person that he is. Sure, he’s carefree and unserious, but he still loves Belly more than anything in the world, so this first episode really just left me more annoyed than anything. But anyway, without wasting your time further, let’s jump into episode 1 of season 3.

Fans have waited long enough, and that wait is about to come to an end. The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 is slated to premiere on Prime Video tomorrow! So if you were planning on watching something else, you might want to rethink your plans.
Not only is this series one of Prime Video's best teen shows, but it's also in its final season. After The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 wraps up its run, fans will have to say goodbye to Belly and the Fisher boys for good. That said, this isn't a season you want to miss!
However, don't expect the third season to be released all at once. Prime Video moved away from that approach after the first season. Season 2 followed a weekly release schedule, with the first three episodes dropping on premiere day and the rest rolling out one at a time each week. The Summer I Turned Pretty...

The 2025 reboot of “I Know What You Did Last Summer” promises to be a bloody good time as a hook-wielding killer wearing a fisherman’s slicker terrorizes a new class of coeds from Southport. But a couple of characters got slashed from the film altogether.
Lola Tung and Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s roles didn’t make the final cut, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson confirmed at the film’s L.A. premiere.
“It happens. You shoot something and, when you watch the scene, it doesn’t fit in the film,” Robinson told Variety after eagle-eyed fans noticed the actors were missing from marketing materials.
Tung and Chavez’s scene was intended to be the opening scene, and their performance was “fantastic,” Robinson said, but ultimately, “it didn’t work within the film that we were creating. And when you’re trying to make something that’s bold,...

Ever since chatter about the third and final season of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” began, creator and author Jenny Han has teased that the ending of her book series might not determine exactly how — and with which Fisher brother — Belly’s journey might end.
Han, who published the last novel in the trilogy, “We’ll Always Have Summer,” well over a decade ago in 2011, is used to fans shipping Belly (Lola Tung), with either Conrad (Christopher Briney) or Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). But she admits the fandom for the Prime Video series has upped the ante, leading to plenty of speculation about how the love triangle might end.

The Summer I Turned Pretty will turn the page on its last chapter on July 16 with the premiere of its third and final season. Showrunner Jenny Han created the sun-kissed story of Belly Conklin and brothers Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher more than a decade ago in the book trilogy the series is based on. Summer's not over yet, and neither is our exciting run of new shows on Netflix and other streaming services! Even though this week's new releases might be small in number, they're definitely mighty, especially considering a major sci-fi franchise kicks off a new season of its spinoff series and a beloved coming-of-age series returns for its final season. Beyond those must-watch titles, there's also another new limited series to get lost in for a weekend binge-watch.
Last week, there were a lot of shows to add to our watch lists, including the hilariously lovable Netflix rom-com series Too Much and Dexter Morgan's comeback in Dexter: Resurrection on Paramount+.
