The following contains major spoilers from St. Denis Medical Season 1, Episode 13, "Some Famous Internet Guy," which debuted Tuesday, Feb. 25 on NBC.
St. Denis Medical Season 1, Episode 13, "Some Famous Internet Guy" could have been the worst episode of the whole series. Instead, it lampoons all the reasons why it could've been terrible. Rather than turning into a half-hour built around a celebrity cameo, the episode makes fun of the idea of celebrity -- also focusing on the quirks and schemes of the hospital staff instead.
"Some Famous Internet Guy" refers to Colby Twill, a musician hugely popular with kids and Dr. Bruce Schweitz, who arrives at the hospital to perform for the pediatric ward. However, when Dr. Ron Leonard notices something concerning about Colby, that starts another sequence of odd events. In the end, though, the episode is actually very heartwarming.

Morgan gave an overview of how he fits into the plot to uInterview founder Erik Meers: “I’m going, to be honest with you, the role of Colby Twill was an incredibly difficult role to step into, so far from what I normally do. Some might say I’m the Daniel Day-Lewis of guest-star acting at this point in my career. No, I mean, it was a lot of fun; it wasn’t a huge stretch; I got to have a lot of fun with the character.” Reflecting on his favorite behind-the-scenes moments, Morgan said, “On my last day there, [Josh Lawson] came to my trailer to say bye,...

When Morgan Jay was cast on a prime-time TV show, he thought he’d finally gotten his big break.
