Rashieda Awan has appeared in films such as Mr. Blue Shirt: The Inspiration, Secrets That We Keep, and Traffic Opera (which won Best Made in Reading Film). Recently she has worked on Charm City and Old Story (which will air on Netflix). Rashieda has focused on her craft through indie films, shorts, features, industrials, and commercial work. She has been recognized by Southampton International Film Festival and won Best Actress in a comedy short, A Perfect You (2016). Rashieda studied at Howard University, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts. A native of Philadelphia, Pa.
