Ellyna Ahmad is a Malaysian screenwriter with over a decade of experience, known for her work in horror and psychological thrillers. Since 2009, she has penned numerous television series and films, earning acclaim for her compelling storytelling. Her breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed film Ophilia, directed by award winning filmmaker Raja Mukhriz. She is also widely recognized for 7ujuh, another notable contribution to Malaysian cinema. Recently, she has ventured into heavy drama, showcasing her versatility as a writer. Her latest project, Pagari Bulan, a period film set during the Japanese occupation of Malaya has received five nominations at Festival Filem Malaysia 33 (FFM33).
