Alpha Rift director Dan Lantz’s horror film Hayride to Hell is a movie we seem to hear about once a year. Back in 2022, it had a sold out premiere screening at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania – the same theatre that served as a memorable filming location for the 1958 classic The Blob. In 2023, it received a wider theatrical release a week and a half before Halloween. Now, just in time for this year’s spooky season, Hayride to Hell is set to receive a digital and VOD release on September 24th. In anticipation of that release, a new trailer has dropped online and can be seen in the embed above.

"You're willing to gamble the future of your entire family farm on whether or not you can scare me?" An official trailer for a wacky indie horror feature called Hayride to Hell, arriving in theaters this month. It's pretty much just a riff on this guy's actual Haunted Hayride, from farmer Bob Lange's pumpkin farm back in the 80s & 90s. In this rural horror spectacle, a small town farmer exacts his bloody revenge on unscrupulous town folk who try to steal his land. Dual horror icons Bill Moseley & Kane Hodder lead the cast. Set on the Coxe Family Farm in rural Willis County, Farmer Sam gets revenge on the unscrupulous local town-folk, including Sheriff Jubel, who menace him and attempt to steal the farm that has been in his family for 200 years. The cast also includes Graham Wolfe, Allyson Malandra, Denise Parella McDonald, Jared Michael Delaney, Shelby Hightower, and Cedric "Budge" Casimiro.

Hayride to Hell is a horror movie led by Bill Moseley and Kane Hodder, following a farmer seeking revenge on corrupt locals. The film was shot at an actual family farm and profits will support the farm's preservation. Moseley and Hodder are well-known in the horror genre, with notable roles in iconic films and upcoming projects.
Farmer Sam is doing everything in his power to save the family farm. While that may not sound like the premise for a horror move, that's exactly what Hayride to Hell is. Lead by horror legends Bill Moseley (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre II) and Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees in multiple Friday the 13th franchise projects), the film follows the story of a farmer who refuses to sell the farm that has been in his family for two centuries. As the trailer teases, Farmer Sam has a plan, and he won't go out without a fight.

"Your father, that helmet, you, they're all connected." Vertical has unveiled a trailer for a peculiar fantasy action thriller titled Alpha Rift, which seems to be another homage to Dungeons & Dragons from a fan who loves to play tabletop games. When a helmet thrusts Nolan into a world of modern-day knights fighting supernatural evil, he's forced to become the hero he was destined to be. When he puts on the mysterious old armored helmet, his whole world changes. The helmet comes to life and calls out to an evil demon who was imprisoned by Nolan's father. Nolan discovers he's next in the bloodline, heir to The Nobleman, destined to become a hero whether he wants to be or not. Aaron Dalla Villa stars as Nolan, with Lance Henriksen, Richel Nielsen, Philip N. Williams, Graham Wolfe, Allyson Malandra, and Peter Patrikios. This kind of plays like a mashup of Highlander...
