The Best Power Rangers Leaders in the Whole Franchise, Ranked by Skills
Image
One of the few elements shared by every season of Power Rangersis the presence of a team leader. Even if a team of Rangers has a mentor, someone has to step up to lead their friends and allies in battle. The keys to being an amazing leader are charisma, trustworthiness, the ability to support one's teammates, a strong strategic mind, and the skills to lead by example.

Every team of Power Rangers has a leader, with Red Rangers commonly filling the role, but some Rangers run their teams much better than others. Rangers like Jason Lee Scott are famous for their leadership, while the likes of Nick Russell and Conner McKnight are infamous for falling short in this regard. Even if a character is one of the best Rangers ever, they aren't automatically a talented leader, with the best example of this being the legendary Tommy Oliver.

How Many Times Was the Pink Ranger the Best Ranger?
Image
When discussing the best characters in Power Rangers, fans will always think of the Red Rangers because they are the team leaders and most storylines revolve around them. However, the Pink Rangers also deserve the spotlight sometimes. These warriors have become a staple of female heroes in television, and often, Power Rangers is all about them.

Whether it is because they lead their teams to victory like Jen Scotts, because they have great super-abilities like Syd Drew, or simply because their goodhearted nature attracted the fans from the moment they hit the screen like Emma Goodall, the Pink Rangers are among the best characters in the franchise.

Does Power Rangers Cosmic Fury Fix The Franchise’s Biggest Timeline Issue?
Image
This Power Rangers Cosmic Fury article contains spoilers through episode 9.

2025. A year that’s loomed over Power Rangers since 2005 when Power Rangers S.P.D., the 13th season of the franchise, aired. S.P.D.’s unusual jump forward in the timeline (previously each season had more or less matched it years of airing) was so the show could tell stories about an Earth that, to quote the shows first episode, “has become a haven for all alien races who come from the farthest reaches of the galaxy.”

The world of S.P.D. was one where aliens lived freely amongst humans, just a regular part of everyday life, and the titular Space Patrol Delta protected Earth against the few aliens who refused to live in harmony. It set up the idea that, within twenty years of the season’s airing, Earth in the Power Rangers universe would soon be crawling with aliens.

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury Review
Image
It's morphin' time as Power Rangers Cosmic Fury arrives on Netflix. This season marks 30 years since the franchise debuted on TV, and there are several surprises in store for long-time fans of the franchise.

Technically, Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is the third season of Dino Fury. The show picks up immediately where events left off -- the Power Rangers need to face off against Lord Zedd and prevent him from executing his latest dastardly plan. At the same time, the Rangers have gained the ability to level up by using the Cosmic Orbs to become Cosmic Fury Rangers, which unlocks a host of brand-new outfits, weapons, and Zords. They aren't alone in their battle against Zedd either. Popular figures from the past...

Why Power Rangers' Mighty Morphin Character Return Could Hurt Cosmic Fury
Image
Power Rangers Cosmic Fury will feature the return of the original Blue Power Ranger, Billy Cranston, played by David Yost, after his departure in 1996. Billy's role will assist the Rangers in battling Lord Zedd and saving the galaxy. Amelia, the Pink Ranger in Power Rangers Dino Fury, will step up as the Red Ranger and become the first female recurrent Red Ranger leader in the franchise's history. However, Billy's return has the potential to overshadow her achievement. Power Rangers Cosmic Fury needs to find a balance between Billy's return and Amelia's new leadership role. Examples from past seasons show that mentor Rangers can be introduced without negatively affecting the leader's position. The season's success will depend on executing this balance correctly.

The highly anticipated Power Rangers Cosmic Fury will feature the return of a Mighty Morphin character, but his role reprisal has the potential to overshadow another character's lead. The...

Power Rangers’ New Red Ranger Is Fixing A 30-Year-Old Franchise Mistake
Image
Power Rangers’ new Red Ranger, which debuts in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, is an unprecedented event in the franchise’s 30-year-old history. Following the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers reunion in Power Rangers: Once Always, the franchise continues its 30-anniversary celebration with Cosmic Fury. The Power Rangers Dino Fury sequel will be the 30th Power Rangers season, a landmark for the franchise that began with Zordon recruiting “five teenagers with attitude” to fight Rita Repulsa in 1993.

Power Rangers Cosmic Fury’s team has broken a Mighty Morphin record, being the first full set of Rangers to appear for three seasons in a row since the inception of the franchise. Cosmic Fury is also a unique Power Rangers season in the sense that is only partially adapting a Super Sentai series, meaning that it will have far more original footage than recent Power Rangers shows. Another major Cosmic Fury change from...

Power Rangers will officially introduce the franchise's first female full-time Red Ranger to the roster. Often composed of a team of teenagers, the Power Rangers are given color-coded suits, superhuman abilities, and the chance to pilot some amazing machined Zords that give them even more power. With their fighting skill, the Power Rangers often face off against a variety of supervillains, typically needing to work together to create Megazords that make them an even stronger team. Yet, while the premise typically remains the same, the Power Rangers roster is ever-changing.

Now, in the lead-up to the Power Rangers' 30th anniversary, the team is putting together its first roster led by a full-time female Red Ranger. Hunter Deno, who plays Amelia Jones as the Pink Ranger in Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury, shared on Instagram a concept art and a video debuting her new look in the Red Ranger costume.
