Samantha Bowling is a Singer, Dancer, Actress, and Model from Commerce, Michigan. Samantha started training in dance at the age of 5 at American Dance Academy, in the past 11 years she has trained in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theatre Dance, and Hawaiian. For the past 7 years she has also trained in Irish Step Dancing at Michigan Irish Dance Academy. At the age of 7 she started private vocal lessons in Classical, Musical Theatre, Pop and R&B at Debra Lamb Voice Studio where she studies with Debra Lamb. At the age of 8 years old, Samantha had her first professional job as a Ginger in the Nutcracker Ballet at The Detroit Opera House with the Cincinnati Ballet Company. At the age of 9, Samantha got her first role in a musical, The Key, where she was in the Children's Chorus. At the age of 11, Samantha started online schooling at Michigan Connections Academy, to accommodate with her careers' schedule. Also at the age of 11, she was a part of many community theatre musicals at The Starlight Theatre, including Aladdin Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr., Annie Jr., Alice in Wonderland Jr., The Sound of Music, Winnie the Pooh Jr., and The Little Mermaid Jr. Also at the age of 11, she started choir and guitar at Oakland Homeschool Music (OHMI), and later Musical Theatre as well. She has played many chorus roles in the Musical Theatre shows with OHMI including The Music Man, Beauty and the Beast, and The Sound of Music. At the age of 16, Samantha had the opportunity to play Miss Hannigan in OHMI's production of Annie the Musical in 2017, which was a big step for her. Samantha has also done some work in film, she had the opportunity to be an extra in the short film 90 Days. Samantha also got to play the Beatnik Kid in the short film Kops, which has earned her IMDb credit. Samantha also as the opportunity to be a part of Allie Willis's music video for her song In The "D", when she as 12 years old in the Michigan Opera Theatre Children's Chorus. Samantha has won numerous awards for her singing and acting, including Best Vocalist at many talent competitions, 2nd prize in the Classical Competition at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) in 2016, and a scholarship to New York Film Academy's Summer Program in 2017. Samantha has also attended the Applause Rising Talent Showcase twice, once in Orlando in 2014, and once in Los Angeles in 2017.
