Wife Swap: Where Are They Now?
Image
While it's been nearly two decades since the premiere of Wife Swap, there's curiosity surrounding where the cast is today. It's no secret that many things on Wife Swap were faked or exaggerated for more exciting television. A series like Wife Swap, which followed two different wives switching families for two weeks, was no exception to this age-old television rule. Unfortunately, the portrayal of these families on TV could have done more harm than good in the long term.

Some families seem to have made it to the other side unscathed, while others have turned to other platforms such as TikTok and Instagram to tell viewers how their lives were turned upside down. However, some families have been keeping their profiles low since the series, others have taken a downturn, and some have been thriving.

Ross Perot
Flashback: Dana Carvey’s Greatest Moment as Ross Perot on ‘Saturday Night Live’
Ross Perot
The late Ross Perot will be remembered for a great many things, from running for president in 1992 as a third-party candidate and scoring 19% of the vote, arguably handing the White House to Bill Clinton, to founding the billion dollar company Electronic Data Systems and organizing a daring 1979 rescue of two Americans imprisoned in Iran.

But when many people look back at Ross Perot, the image they recall is Dana Carvey’s hysterical impersonation of him on Saturday Night Live. His nasal speaking voice and quirky personality made him a perfect...

Ross Perot
Ross Perot, who died at the age of 89 on Tuesday, is perhaps the most notable presidential candidate to run from a third-party, which he did in 1992 and 1996. But anyone who watched “Saturday Night Live” in the 1990s know Perot mainly due to Dana Carvey’s great impression of the Texas billionaire-turned-White House hopeful.

Billy Burke, Kristen Connolly, Alyssa Diaz, Nonso Anozie, James Wolk, and Gracie Dzienny in Zoo (2015)
Film Review: ‘Zoo’
Billy Burke, Kristen Connolly, Alyssa Diaz, Nonso Anozie, James Wolk, and Gracie Dzienny in Zoo (2015)
Taking peculiar advantage of the old disaster-movie rule that audiences care more about whether a single dog lives or dies than they do about the fates of people, “Zoo” amplifies the horrors of the Luftwaffe air raids on Belfast during World War II by focusing not on human casualties but on what becomes of the animals trapped at the local zoo. Writer-director Colin McIvor adapts the true-ish story of how a handful of citizens came to the rescue of a baby elephant into an unlikely family film, one that will delight the kids (who see themselves portrayed as heroes) while leaving parents with a lot of explaining to do.

On one hand, they’ll have to reconcile the children’s heroic actions with the fact that they appear to be disobeying adults at every turn. Trickier still, the film hinges on a seemingly cruel edict, issued by the British Ministry of Public Security,...
