Demetria Obilor

Demetria Obilor is a Nigerian-American talk show host, journalist, and actress. She is best known for her work as a news and traffic anchor at WFAA-TV in Dallas, TX; KLAS-TV in Las Vegas; and KSHB-TV in Kansas City. Demetria received worldwide attention and acclaim after responding to a viewer who body-shamed her. Demetria was born in Kansas City, Missouri, but moved with her family to Las Vegas when she was a teenager. She attended the University of Kansas, where she earned a degree in journalism. Demetria's father is Nigerian (Igbo). Her mother's ethnic background is mainly Polish and German.
