"AnnenMayKantereit" is a german rock band founded by Christopher Annen, Henning May & Severin Kantereit and a former school band from Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The founders had to get to know each other during their time on "Schiller-Gymnasium" in Cologne-Sülz. Their songs are predominantly performed in German, but the band also publishes cover songs in English occasionally. A notable feature of the band's music is the distinct and rough voice of lead singer Henning May.
