Ashley Bufkin

Ashley Bufkin was born in Culver City, CA, to Marenda and Reginald Bufkin. At the age of thirteen, she moved to Las Vegas, NV with her mother and younger brother. She studied Theater at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and later received an MFA in Theater from Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts.
She is best known for her breakout role as France in the indie series, Bedlam: The Series, directed by Eric Tucker, starring Zuzanna Szadkowski (Gossip Girl). Notable stage credits include: Jo March in Little Women (Hangar Theatre), Emmy in A Doll's House Part Two (Regional Theatre premiere; Barrington Stage Company), and Julius Caesar in Julius Caesar (Shakespeare's Globe).
In 2019, Ashley received a SALT Awards nomination for Best Leading Actress in a Play for her performance as Jo March in the Hangar Theatre's Little Women.
