Biography

Nobuaki Shimamoto is an award winning Japanese actor who performed the role of Minegishi in Bullet Train.

He was born in Tokyo Japan. Then he moved to Sydney, Australia in 2003. As soon as he moved to Australia, he met acting by coincidence. He played the lead role of the short film called Fish out of Water (2003)

He had countless opportunities to work on great productions such as The Wolverine (2012), The Railway Man (2012), Terminus(2015),Hacksaw Ridge (2016), Abandoned (2017), Daily Bread (2018) and more.

He won the best actor award - Abandoned - for Miami Web Fest (2019)

He moved to the United States in 2018 to seek for more achievements in his acting career. Since he moved to the U.S, he has been having a lot of opportunities to work on great productions such as like My Alien Girlfriend (2019), Devil in a Dress (2020), Primitive (2020), Beckman (2020), Superhot (2021), Yae The Blind Samurai Woman (2022), Bullet Train (2022) and more and more to come...
