Mumbai, March 17 (Ians) Actor Gurmeet Choudhary, whose new song ‘Tere Mere’ released recently, has shared that he shot for the song in the blistering heat of Rajasthan, that too wearing leather jackets.

The music video of the song has been directed by Ashish Panda with its music composed by Javed-Mohsin.

Talking about his experience of shooting the song, the actor told Ians: “We shot Tere Mere at a heritage place in Rajasthan with extreme heat of 40 degrees plus. I love visiting the historical places and monuments in Rajasthan, they are very interesting to me. While shooting for the video I had to wear thick leather jackets which was quite a challenge due to the scorching heat.”

The song has been crooned by Stebin Ben and Asees Kaur with its lyrics penned by Rashmi Virag. The song’s percussion section is reminiscent of ‘Titliaan Warga’.

Popular singer Stebin Ben has released his own version of the romantic track, ‘Tum Mile Dil Khile’ from the 1994 film ‘Criminal’, originally sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik. He said that this is one of the most loved songs and he enjoyed recreating the track.

Stebin has collaborated with singer Asees Kaur for the first time for the track and he shared about it, saying: “‘Tu Mile’ is a treasured classic, which continues to find its place in our playlists even decades after its release, and truly one of my favourite romantic songs.”

Composer-singer Amit Trivedi recently released his latest single ‘Dhol’, it is a foot-tapping number, which sets the tone for the upcoming festive season and Navratri celebrations.

The song, penned by Jayashri Trivedi, has been co-sung by Aamir Mir and Asees Kaur and manages to strike a balance between a melodious track and a fun traditional dance number.

The actor recently announced that his wife Akriti and he are expecting their first child. He had uploaded a picture kissing his wife's baby bump. An evening to remember for the Indian film industry as Filmfare hosted the 66th Vimal Elaichi Filmfare Awards 2021 on 27th March 2021. Rajkumar Rao, Jaanvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma team up to returned the magic of cinema to worldwide audiences in Roohi. Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studio, this has the same team as the wonderful Stree and is a similar horror comedy. While there are still innocents, there are still demonic spirits and the men in the film are highly likely to get hurt the most, this still promises to be a decent bit of fun as the world comes out of lockdown. Sachin Jigar are also giving the music for this horror comedy, so the most interesting thing about this may be to see how they differentiate this album from Stree.
