- Zay Rodriguez was born on December 13th, 1986 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is of Puerto Rican descent. He's passionate about acting, film writing and producing. In 2002, Rodriguez made a few straight to video films with friends; Daniela and Daiana Ruiz, which started his creative journey into the Independent scene. His first short film 'The Uprising', debuted online in 2005. The film was filmed in Hamilton, New Jersey which he starred alongside co-star, director and editor Will Sikora III. Rodriguez holds over a decade of experience in making Independent Films, and is currently expanding his experience with other productions such as; SaintGilbert Studios, PurpleLight FiLMS L.L.C., Project X Production, Rhythm & Flow Entertainment, 831 Films and BPodell Productions. He recently associated himself with Dark Humor Entertainment. Producing and directing short films such as; Unexpected and Saturday the 14th.
