King Nagarjuna Akkineni has entertained audiences for over two decades and is still considered the most versatile and fit actor in the Telugu film industry. He is all set to feature in his 100th film and join Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna as the actors who have already completed this milestone.

Nagarjuna last featured as the main lead in the 2024 Naa Saami Ranga film, which is a period action drama directed by choreographer Vijay Binni, in his directorial debut. It is an official adaptation of the 2019 Malayalam-language film Porinju Mariam Jose, starring Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun alongside Nagarjuna.

The makers of director Sanjeev Reddy’s upcoming web series, ‘Aha Na Pellanta’, on Monday released the teaser of the Telugu comedy.

The series, which is a comical narrative of a groom, isolated by the bride on their wedding day, is to be streamed on the Ott platform Zee5.

Produced by Tamada Media, the eight episode series features Raj Tarun and Shivani Rajashekhar and a bevy of comedians in significant roles.

Directed by Ps Mithran, the film has Vishal and Samantha playing the lead pair, with Arjun, Delhi Ganesh, Sreeja Ravi, Robo Shankar and Kavithalaya Krishnan in the star cast playing the supporting roles. Chennai, Jan 4: Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna-produced Telugu romantic-drama "Uyyala Jampala", which released Dec 25, minted Rs. 6.25 crore in its first week in Andhra Pradesh, thus being declared a hit by trade pundits.

The film was reportedly made under a budget of Rs. 2 crore.

"It's a big hit for a film starring a host of debutants. In its first week, it netted approximately Rs. 6.25 crore and it continues to do well at the box office. It still has one more week of uninterrupted run before the Sankranti releases come out," trade analyst Trinath told Ians.

Newcomers Avika Gor and Raj Tarun play the leads in the.

Chennai, Dec 14: Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna says that his upcoming Telugu production venture "Uyyala Jampala" may be a romantic tale of two youngsters, but the film will also bring forth the spirit of the countryside.

"Romance isn't the first thing you expect from the film, but in this delightful rural love tale, you will find a daringly different music compositions and dialogues that echo countryside coupled with enchanting live sound," Nagarjuna told Ians.

"It's a story about fun and emotions of a young couple set against the backdrop of a small village called Koonavaram in Andhra Pradesh," he added.

Starring debutant Raj Tarun and Avika Gor, the film is slated for release Dec 25.
