Maor Ohzana, known professionally as Maor, is an actress, screenwriter, and comedian based in Los Angeles. Raised in Miami, Florida, with a Sephardic Jewish father and Honduran mother, she has a multicultural background which deeply influences her work and storytelling, known for its blend of humor, blunt cultural insight, and a keen perspective on contemporary themes pertaining to identity.
She is an alumnus of the UCLA TFT Professional Program in Screenwriting and has since gained recognition as both a writer and performer. Some notable achievements include being a finalist in NBC Universal's Ya Tu Sabes Monologue Slam for her piece entitled 'Mejorando La Raza,' a commentary on colorism in Latin American culture, as well as being selected as a Second Rounder in the Austin Film Festival for her TV spec "Not So Easy-Bake Oven" based on FX's 'What We Do in the Shadows'.
