Sharing his experience of shooting with Samantha for the action-packed thriller Yashoda, her co-star Unni Mukundan talks about the professionalism and dedication of the actress.

Playing a surrogate mother, unraveling the secrets of the medical world, Samantha puts forth a power-packed avatar performing action stunts in the film. Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan plays a doctor in Yashoda, and the trailer also hints at a romantic angle between him and Samantha.

Talking about his experience about shooting with Samantha, Unni Mukundan says, “Samantha is a very dedicated and hard working actress. She has prepared a lot for her role that includes the fights, action and emotional scenes. She interacts well with other artistes on set.

Actress Samantha, who is currently undergoing treatment for an auto-immune condition called Myositis, has chosen to take a day off from her treatment to promote her upcoming pan-Indian film, ‘Yashoda’.

Taking to Instagram, Samantha wrote, “Like my good friend Raj Nidimoru says, no matter what the day is like and how shitty things are, his motto is to shower, shave, show up!! I borrowed it for a day for ‘Yashoda’ movie promotions. See you on the Eleventh.”

Chennai, Nov 7 (Ians) Calling Samantha a dedicated and hardworking artiste, actor Unni Mukundan, who plays a doctor in Samantha’s upcoming film, ‘Yashoda’, says the actress never revealed that she was fighting a condition called Myositis while shooting for the film.

Sharing his experience of shooting with Samantha for the action-packed thriller, Unni Mukundan says, “Samantha is a very dedicated and hard working actress. She has prepared a lot for her role that includes the fights, action and emotional scenes.”

“She would interact well with other artistes on set. We discussed ideas on how we could improvise the action in a scene”, he adds.

In a recent post, Samantha revealed that she was suffering from an auto-immune condition called Myositis while filming ‘Yashoda’.

However, the dedicated actress didn’t let her ailment hamper her work and continued to shoot without informing anyone.
