Fox is getting a head start on its early January schedule.

The broadcast network has confirmed three premiere dates for the begininng of 2022.

First up, we have Gordon Ramsey's latest series, Next Level Chef, which is set to launch Sunday, January 2 in the 8 p.m. slot out of an NFL Doubleheader.

The same tactic will be used the following Sunday for the Season 2 debut of Call Me Kat and the series premiere of Pivoting.

The network has not announced regular timeperiods for the trio of series, so we'll have to stay tuned for more on that.

Fox has shared trailers for its new comedies and dramas for the 2021-22 TV season, including the Scott Foley-led “The Big Leap” and Paul Feig’s “Welcome to Flatch.”

The trailers were unveiled at the network’s annual upfront presentation to advertisers on Monday, alongside information about returning favorites “9-1-1,” “The Masked Singer” and “The Resident.”

The new shows teased Monday also include the long-gestating mob drama “The Cleaning Lady” and the ensemble comedy “Pivoting,” starring Eliza Coupe, Maggie Q and Ginnifer Goodwin. Fox has picked up to series Pivoting, its half-hour single-camera comedy pilot headlined by Eliza Coupe, Ginnifer Goodwin and Maggie Q. The project, written and executive produced by Liz Astrof, hails from Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, Warner Bros TV and Fox Entertainment.

Pivoting was the last of the produced 2020 Fox pilots whose fate had not been decided. Of the others, comedy This Country and dramas The Big Leap and The Cleaning Lady have been picked up to series, while the network passed on drama pilots Blood Relative and The Goonies-themed Film Reenactment Project.

This news sounds more like a curse than a blessing. ABC has revealed that they've cancelled Bless This Mess so, it won't be back for the 2020-21 season.

ABC has canceled freshman drama Emergence and sophomore comedies Bless This Mess, Single Parents and Schooled as well as the new Kids Say The Darndest Things revival with Tiffany Haddish.

This cancelations are part of a big round of renewal decisions at the Disney-owned network today, which included the pickup of 13 current series for its 2020-21 slate.

While the cancellation of Emergence was considered likely, bubble comedies Single Parents, Bless This Mess and The Goldbergs’ spinoff Schooled all getting the axe was surprising, especially given the auspices involved. Two other ABC bubble shows, freshmen For Life and The Baker and the Beauty, remain in limbo.

The coronavirus pandemic grounding Hollywood production and throwing the 2020 pilot season into chaos was expected to benefit bubble series. This season leading out of ABC’s No. 1 comedy (The Conners), Bless This Mess averaged a 0.67 demo rating and 3.6 million total viewers, right on par with its freshman run.

The Simple Life alumna Nicole Richie is returning to the farm in an upcoming multi-episode arc opposite Lake Bell and Dax Shepard on ABC’s Bless This Mess.

Richie will play Sierra Rio’s NYC Bff, who would probably tell you she’s from Brooklyn, but she’s a spoiled Upper-East-Sider through and through. And she cannot wait to host her wedding at Mike and Rio’s “super rustic, kind of gross” farm. Her character will be introduced in early February 2020.

ABC has picked up additional episodes of “American Housewife” and “Bless This Mess,” the network announced on Thursday.

Both shows will run for an additional six episodes this year, with “American Housewife” currently in its fourth season and “Bless This Mess” in its second.

ABC has picked up more episodes of comedies American Housewife, currently in its fourth season, and sophomore Bless This Mess. Each will produce six additional episodes, for what ABC calls full-season orders.

American Housewife had originally received a 15-episode order, which will now go up to 21 episodes and the show’s total to 97 episodes. The pickup is a vote of confidence to the comedy, which has been an utility player for ABC over the years and a solid Friday anchor this fall.

Bless This Mess was a midseason entry last season, so its Season 2 order was for 13 episodes. The back order brings that up to 19.

Both shows have been picked up for six additional episodes at the broadcaster for their current seasons. “Bless This Mess” will now run for 19 episodes this season and “American Houswife” will run for 21.

The comedy series kicked off strong with a 0.9 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and 4.69 million total viewers for its April 16 premiere. In its third week, the series continued to show promise, maintaining 100% of lead-in Black-Ish in the demo, while building in total viewers.
