One of my favorite viewing experiences in 2016 was watching The Barn, Justin M. Seaman's must-watch midnight movie that pays homage to ’80s slashers while introducing a lineup of killer new creatures to haunt your screen on Halloween night. Harbinger Down: "A group of grad students have booked passage on the fishing trawler Harbinger to study the effects of global warming on a pod of Orcas in the Bering Sea. It seems that the Russians experimented with tardigrades, tiny resilient animals able to withstand the extremes of space radiation. The creatures survived, but not without a mutation.
