Ali Meier is a small-town girl from upstate New York who made her way to Austin, Texas. She grew up exploring a variety of interests, including piano, ballet, hiking, skating, water skiing, and camping. However, it was her love of running that led her to compete and coach collegiately in track and field. After receiving her M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Samuel Merritt College (now University), Ali worked in a variety of healthcare settings and works at a rehab hospital helping people recover from head injuries, orthopedic injuries and spinal cord injuries.
With encouragement from a friend, Ali took her first improv class that quickly led to her pursuing acting professionally. She has taken workshops with the legendary Harry Mastrogeorge and continues to train at the Carol Hickey Acting Studio. Ali is a talented and versatile actress who is equally at home in comedy or drama. In her free time, Ali can be seen running on roads, trails and track with her running group, doing her best to keep up with older and much faster runners than her.
