Attention, Spn Family. You’re invited to a Supernatural reunion, though it takes an alternate form from what you’d assume. Word has come down the wire that Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins are officially joining Jensen Ackles for the fifth and final season of The Boys as guest stars.

Eric Kripke, who created The Boys for television, also created Sam Winchester and Castiel, Padalecki and Collins’ respective Supernatural characters. Supernatural fans have waited years for these three to reunite, and it’s only natural for them to cross paths on The Boys before the show goes the way of the dodo.

The trio announced they’re getting the band back together via an Instagram video, proclaiming they’ve “got work to do” for The Boys Season 5. Padalecki and Collins’s roles are being kept under wraps, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start celebrating what is sure to be a momentous occasion.

“Supernatural” stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins have got work to do… again.

The trio will reunite on “The Boys,” they revealed in the Instagram video below.

Ackles joined the series as Soldier Boy in the third season. Padalecki and Collins will guest star in the upcoming fifth and final season.

“The Boys” was developed by “Supernatural” creator Eric Kripke, who serves as showrunner.

Other “Supernatural” alumni to appear on the show include Jim Beaver, Rob Benedict, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Based on the New York Times bestselling comic of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, the satirical superhero series debuted in 2019.

Currently in production, the final season of “The Boys” is expected to debut in 2026 on Prime Video.

A Supernatural reunion on The Boys.

News broke on The Boys’ social media channels Wednesday afternoon that Misha Collins and Jared Padalecki had landed guest starring roles on the Prime Video hit’s fifth and final season.

They join Jensen Ackles, who has been a prominent character over the last few seasons as Soldier Boy.

The character’s popularity has opened the door for Jensen to co-lead an upcoming spinoff with Aya Cash.

Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins have joined the fifth and final season of “The Boys” as guest stars, reuniting with their fellow “Supernatural” alum, Jensen Ackles.

Details on their roles are being kept under wraps.

“The Boys” creator Eric Kripke has long expressed a desire to cast Padalecki on the satirical superhero drama, telling Variety last year, “I feel like I have to complete my game of ‘Supernatural’ Pokémon and I have my one big one — very big one — left to catch.” He later told Variety he was talking to Padalecki about a role on the final season, saying, “I love him and you try to work with people that you love.”

In addition to Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy, “The Boys” has also featured “Supernatural” actors Jim Beaver (playing Robert Singer), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (playing Joe Kessler) and Rob Benedict (playing Splinter).

Shortly after the fourth season of The Boys wrapped up, showrunner Eric Kripke indicated that Jensen Ackles' (Soldier Boy) former Supernatural co-star Jared Padalecki might be set to join him in the upcoming fifth and final season.

Now, a new video posted to the show's X account confirms that Padalecki has indeed joined the season 5 cast... along with Misha Collins!

Supernatural starred Ackles and Padalecki as demon-hunting brothers Dean and Sam Winchester, while Collins played their angelic ally Castiel.

The Boys has also featured fellow Supernatural actors Jim Beaver (Robert Singer), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Joe Kessler) and Rob Benedict (Splinter).

We have no idea which characters Padalecki and Collins will be playing on The Boys, but we'll be sure to update if and when the trades weigh in.

Following speculations the Supernatural duo will appear in Prime Video’s The Boys, they announced on Wednesday that guest appearances in the fifth and final season have been booked. Details on their roles are under wraps.

Padalecki and Collins will once again work opposite Jensen Ackles, their Supernatural co-star who joined The Boys in Season 3. The trio created an Instagram video to share the news.

Cameras have been rolling on the fifth and final season of the Prime Video series since last November, and star Jack Quaid has now shared a new behind-the-scenes photo from the set.

Though the image doesn't provide any context, it seems pretty clear that Hughie will be taking yet another bloodbath when the show returns next year.

There are so many of the best TV shows returning with new seasons in 2025, especially the Netflix shows. New seasons of Stranger Things, Wednesday, Squid Game, and more good Netflix shows premiere in 2025. HBO and Max have new seasons of The White Lotus, The Last of Us, and many more. After a rough couple of years for good TV shows, 2025 is going to be one for the books!

Unfortunately, even with all those good TV shows coming back in 2025, there are still a handful of TV shows that definitely won't be back with new seasons this year. We'll be waiting until 2026, or even later, potentially, to watch new seasons of some of the best shows on TV.

We shared a list of eight of those good TV shows that won't be returning in 2025. Let's get things started with House of the Dragon!

In the season 4 finale of The Boys, Homelander took a major step towards taking full control of the United States by removing all political obstacles and rounding-up his enemies, including Mother's Milk, Frenchie, Kimiko, and Hughie (only Starlight and Butcher remain at large).

It was strongly hinted that Homelander's plan would involve interning those who opposed him in prison camps, and we now have confirmation that "Freedom Camps" will indeed be employed for this purpose.

These latest set photos reveal adverts for the camps on the sides of some buses, which also provide a first look at new Supe team, Teenage Kix.

This group is a parody of the likes of the Young Avengers and Teen Titans, and counts A-Train, Sister Sage and the late Popclaw among its former members. In the comics, the roster also includes Big Game, Jetstreak, Hyperion, Shout Out and Mesme.

2024 hasn’t been that great of a year for Prime Video, as the second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power failed to make up for its abysmal first season and continued its streak of huge disappointment. This camp also declares that "Freedom Sets You Free."

We'd imagine this is where Hughie and the rest of The Boys are being kept after their capture in the season 4 finale, and the design of the signage appears to be heavily inspired by both the American flag and Homelander's costume.

The series has never shied away from making its political leanings clear and season 5 promises double down...

As has become something of a tradition, The Boys star Karl Urban has marked the start of production on season 5 of the Prime Video series by sharing a set photo of his character, Billy Butcher, covered in claret.

A blood-splattered Butcher is not exactly a rare sight in The Boys, but following the events of the season 4 finale, this shot might just have even more sinister connotations than usual.

Butcher has always been a morally flexibal guy, but when we last saw him he had fully embraced his dark side (manifested by the late Joe Kessler), killed Victoria Neuman and set off on his own to begin a Supe genocide.

This left the rest of the team on the run, with everyone bar Annie January/Starlight rounded up by Homelander's forces, while the now unopposed leader of the Seven moved one step closer to world domination.

The shot features returning stars Antony Starr, Chase Crawford and Nathan Mitchell, who will be back to antagonize Billy Butcher and the gang as Homelander, The Deep, and Black Noir, respectively.

The Deep and Noir - who took up the mantle after Homelander killed the original masked villain in season 3 - became a lot more dangerous in the season 4 finale, stepping up as Homelander's enforcers after fully embracing their penchant for merciless brutality.

Things look very bleak for The Boys - especially after Butcher's betrayal - so let's hope the team gets some super-powered back-up in season 5.

On his official X account, Eric Kripke shared a behind-the-scenes image from the set of The Boys season 5. Fans assumed that season 5 of The Boys would likely start shooting this week after star Laz Alonso (Mother's Milk) shared a photo of the cast meeting up for dinner to his Instagram page, and showrunner Eric Kripke has now confirmed that cameras are rolling on the Prime Video show's final batch of episodes.

Kripke posted the first page of episode 1's script to social media, revealing the title: "Fifteen Inches of Sheer Dynamite."

While speaking to TV Guide about his plans for the final season earlier this year, Kripke was asked if he's already decided who is going to survive and who will come to a no-doubt messy end.

The Boys season 5 gets a new update, with creator Eric Kripke unveiling an intriguing title for episode 1. Kripke now takes to X, formerly Twitter, to share an image of the script title page for The Boys season 5, episode 1, revealing the title to be "Fifteen Inches Of Sheer Dynamite." The title page also confirms that episode 1 was penned by Paul Grellong and directed by Phil Sgriccia, both of whom are also executive producers on the show. Over the course of its four seasons, Prime Video's The Boys has taken aim at major superhero franchises (numerous shots have been fired at Marvel Studios and Warner Bros./DC), with Vought basically doubling for a massive studio machine that churns out endless sequels and spin-offs with little regard for the quality of the projects.

When Karen Fukuhara's character is first introduced in the Prime Video superhero satire "The Boys," she's not even given a name. She's just "The Girl" -- a mute Japanese woman with some seriously strong superpowers. She's a silent assassin, capable of taking incredible levels of damage and healing from them, plus she has superhuman strength and short bursts of super speed, making her extremely formidable.

It's only as the series progresses that we learn her name is Kimiko, and she starts communicating with Frenchie (Tomer Capone) via the sign language she created with her late brother. For most of the series, however, we don't know why Kimiko can't speak. Is it the result of some physical ailment or accident, or is it something psychological? Though we eventually learn the tragic reason behind Kimiko's silence toward the end of "The Boys" season 4, it turns out that Fukuhara was thinking ahead...

Even ahead of the recently launched finale of The Boys Season 4, it was known that this would be the penultimate season of Prime Video’s superhero series. Season 5 is in the early stages of development, but there are some hints here and there of what’s to come at the end of the Eric Kripke run show.

Season 4’s premiere saw a 21% increase in total viewers compared to Season 3’s first four days on the streamer. The penultimate installment tackled political themes ahead of the 2024 election, and the finale had to undergo a name change following the attempted assassination on former president Donald Trump just days before the final episode launched.

Prime Video has announced an explosive new addition to the fifth and final season of The Boys, with Stranger Things alum Mason Dye set to play Bombsight.

Though this Supe doesn't appear to be based on any specific character from the comics, he was mentioned last season as the star of a '50s Vought superhero film called The Curse of Fu Manchu.

So, like Soldier Boy and Stormfront, this guy has been around for quite a while.

According to Variety, Bombsight is also likely to appear in the upcoming prequel series Vought Rising opposite Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash.

We recently learned that Daveed Diggs (Snowpiercer) has also joined the cast of season 5, but details on his character are being kept under wraps.

Stranger Things‘ Mason Dye has booked a guest-starring role in the fifth and final season of The Boys as the character Bombsight, Deadline has learned.

Further details are being kept under wraps, but Bombsight was previously mentioned on The Boys as the third oldest known supe in history who was active in the ’50s.

Noone is confirming but according to sources, Bombsight is being introduced on the The Boys before migrating to the upcoming prequel spinoff series Vought Rising, with Dye poised to become a series regular opposite Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash.

Created by Eric Kripke, Prime Video's hit superhero parody show returned for season 4 earlier this year, continuing Billy Butcher's (Karl Urban) quest for vengeance against Homelander (Antony Starr) and Vought. The Boys season 5 is now confirmed to bring the show to an end, with a roster of both new and old Supes assembling for the final episodes.

Variety now reports that actor Mason Dye has been cast in The Boys season 5 as Bombsight. Though details regarding the character haven't yet been released, Bombsight was mentioned in season 4 as a Supe who appeared in "The Curse of Fu Manchu," a 1950s Vought superhero movie. As for where audiences will have seen Dye previously, the actor recently appeared in Stranger Things season 4 as Jason Carver, a Hawkins High basketball star and supporting antagonist.

A proper crossover between The Boys and Gen V needs to happen after Karen Fukuhara, the actress who played Kimiko, hyped up the latter series. Entertainment Weekly has revealed that The Boys season 5 has tapped Daveed Diggs for a mystery role in the R-Rated Prime Video series.

The actor is best known for starring in Hamilton (which was already a hit but became a global phenomenon thanks to Disney+) and counts the likes of Snowpiercer, The Little Mermaid, and Velvet Buzzsaw among his many film and television roles.

This isn't the first time he's circled a superhero project as it's widely believed he was a frontrunner to play Ben Grimm/The Thing in Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps. That role ultimately went to Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

Diggs has also lent his voice to Amazon's Invincible as Theo, a member of a therapy group who lost their loved ones to superheroes.
