Highly-Anticipated Robin Hood Series Gets a Major Update 5 Months Before Release

It’s been a few months since any news about MGM+’s version of the iconic Robin Hood tale made the rounds, but finally, that’s about to change. With production currently underway on the small-screen adaptation, seven new members have been added to its cast, joining Jack Patten and Lauren McQueen, who will headline the series as Rob and Marian. The Robin Hood series is expected to premiere sometime in December, but with a precise date to be announced in due time.

The latest cast members announced for the new Robin Hood show include Tom Mison, Graeme Thomas King, Anastasia Griffith, Matija Gredić, Mihailo Lazić, Boban Marjanović, and Jelena Gavrilović. Exclusive: MGM+ has added seven to the recurring cast of Robin Hood, starring Jack Patten and Lauren McQueen, including Graeme Thomas King (Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists), Tom Mison (See), Anastasia Griffith (Copper), Matija Gredić (Battle of the Castle Itter), Mihailo Lazić (Strange Documentaries: The Sky over Belgrade), Boban Marjanović (John Wick) and Jelena Gavrilović (The Outpost).

Connie Nielsen has joined the cast of the upcoming series “Robin Hood” at MGM+, Variety has learned exclusively.

The 10 episode series was greenlit in September 2024 and recently began production in Serbia. Nielsen will appear alongside previously announced cast members like leads Jack Patten, Lauren McQueen, and Sean Bean. Additional cast members include Lydia Peckham, Henry Rowley, Steven Waddington, Marcus Fraser, and Angus Castle-Doughty.
