Ashley Barber

Originally from Panamá, raised in Montana, a graduate of Film Studies (University of Montana), and an Army Veteran - Ashley is an award-winning producer who has lived in Los Angeles for 10 years working in development and production for TV and film. Having got his start working for television producer & syndicator Michael King (King World Productions) and then media personality Paula Abdul, Ashley has navigated many forms of media ranging from commercial projects and short-form SVOD/PVOD to broadcast television, indie films, and studio features. He now works as a Project Manager in Custom Content at the feature animation studio, Illumination Entertainment, where he is mentored by CEO and founder, Chris Meledandri. Prior to that, he was at Nickelodeon Animation Studios where he worked in Production with the creator and showrunner of "Shimmer and Shine," Farnaz Esnaashari as well as the President of the studio Ramsey Naito. He also develops content under his production company and consults with a number of creative executives on both animated and live-action projects. Ashley has worked in project conjunction with such companies as: Netflix, Sony, Warner Brothers, Legendary, EuropaCorp, ABC, Illumination, Universal, Nickelodeon, Dolby, Audience Network, DirecTV, YouTube, Activision/Treyarch, Tornante, and AwesomenessTV.
