Paris-based About Premium Content (Apc) has acquired international rights to the Norwegian drama “Requiem for Selina,” due to bow at Lille’s Series Mania International Panorama competition program March 24.
A hot property on the pre-sales market, the youth-oriented TV show from “Skam” commissioner Nrk has already secured major distribution deals with AMC Networks International Southern Europe for Spain and Portugal, Dr for Denmark, Yle for Finland and RÚV for Iceland, while the domestic premiere on the Norwegian pubcaster is set for March 15.
Oslo-based creative studio Anti’s head of production Ingunn Rensel and head of development Emmeline Berglund are serving as producer and creator/co-writer respectively. Joining them are helmers Sebastian Kåss (credited for Anti’s earlier hit YA show “Heartbeat”) and Rikke Gregersen (“Ida Takes Charge”).
Toplining the cast are Elli Müller Osborne, Veslemøy Mørkrid Pål Sverre Hagen, Jon Øigarden as well as newcomer Oliver Sletvold Andersen.

Prime Video has unveiled 12 new unscripted reality and entertainment series coming to the Nordics, including an adaptation of the hit format “Lol: Last One Laughing” for Denmark and Norway.
The streamer has also renewed the Swedish version of “Lol: Last One Laughing” for a second season. All Nordic versions of “Lol: Last One Laughing” are filmed and produced in Sweden by Jarowskij in Sweden, Metronome in Denmark and Nordisk Banijay in Norway.

The Amazon-owned streamer has unveiled a 12-strong slate of unscripted shows that will launch this fall, including an expansion of the Lol: Last One Laughing format and new titles such as Girls of Oslo and Parneviks All In!.
Lol is getting new versions in Denmark and Norway following its launch in Sweden last year. Sweden is also getting a second season.
The format, in which comedians compete to keep a straight face to win a cash prize for a charity of their choosing, originated in Japan and is Prime Video’s best travelling entertainment titles with versions around the world. All Nordic versions are filmed and produced in Sweden by Jarowskij (Sweden), Metronome (Denmark), and Nordisk Banijay (Norway), respectively.
