Deidra Kathleen is a Midwestern born actress. She was born in Toledo, Ohio - raised partly there and partly in a nearby suburb called, Maumee.
Deidra started performing in community theatre when she was eleven years old. Prior, she had been caught up in books and her imagination. After that, it was full speed ahead. She then attended the Performing Arts School of Metropolitan Toledo (PASMT) for her junior high years. There she learned to sing classically when a teacher saw something in her during an in-class talent show and arranged for her to take vocal lessons.
During high school, she contributed on and offstage for shows, while performing in community theatre.
Ms. Kathleen has earned degrees in both theatre and film.
Deidra is a graduate of Second City - Hollywood. She has also studied under Michael B. Silver and Shana Gagnon, respectively as acting coaches. She's appeared in an online game show produced by DOSE and a music video by her childhood idol/Backstreet Boy, A.J. McLean. Deidra has worked on many student films from USC to AFI to NYFA - and co-hosted an online news show called, In Case You Missed It. She was also in the California premiere performance of A Klingon Christmas Carol alongside one of its writers.
