BBC surveillance thriller The Capture is returning for a third season.

The Heyday Television-produced series will take up the story 12 months after Rachel Carey (Holliday Grainger) broadcast a live deepfake of a government minister to the nation, exposing the UK intelligence service’s clandestine video manipulation programme known as Correction. Amidst an inquiry into the unlawful use of Correction, Carey has become acting head of SO15, determined to regain the public’s trust in surveillance technology through a new Operation Veritas camera system.

Ben Chanan’s thriller is boarded in Season 3 by Killian Scott (Strike, Kaos, Dublin Murders), who joins the likes of Indira Varma as BBC Newsnight presenter Khadija Khan, Ben Miles as Danny Hart, Lia Williams as Gemma Garland, Ginny Holder as Di Nadia Latif, Ron Perlman as CIA agent Frank Napier, Nigel Lindsay as Dsi Tom Kendricks, Tessa Wong as DC Chloe Tan and Daisy Waterstone as Abigail Carey.

Directed by BAFTA-winner director Lewis Arnold the 7 x 60′ series for U.K. broadcaster ITV and streamer Itvx, drama is a depiction of the five-year hunt for serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, focusing on the lives of the victims who crossed his path and those of the officers at the heart of the police investigation.

Toby Jones (“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”) plays Dennis Hoban, who initially led the enquiry, with David Morrissey (“Sherwood”) as George Oldfield, who took on the investigation. As vacation season approaches, we've learned PBS has renewed The Durrells in Corfu TV show for a third season. We haven't received a press release from the network, and the premiere date is Tbd, but the renewal is confirmed in an interview with writer Simon Nye, posted to PBS.org. Meet The Durrells
Rising young star Milo Parker is set to star as 11 year old Gerald Durrell alongside Keeley Hawes and Leslie Carron in a brand new ITV series The Durrells, based upon naturalist Gerald Durrell’s classic trilogy of Corfu memoirs including the much loved ‘My Family and Other Animals’.

Milo Parker (represented by Bwh) has just wrapped on Tim Burton's latest feature Peregrine's Home for Peculiars, and starred as Roger opposite Sir Ian McKellan in Mr Holmes. Milo was also seen as Conner in sci-fi action adventure Robot Overlords. In The Durrells he plays young Gerry who is obsessed with animals and about to be thrown out of school. Happy to spend hours staring at beetles on a wall, he can go missing for days on epic nature trails and turns the house in Corfu into a zoo.

The story focuses upon Louisa Durrell, played by Keeley Hawes, whose life is in meltdown.

Keeley Hawes will lead new ITV 1930s drama series The Durrells
Keeley Hawes will lead the cast of ITV's latest period drama, and as a bonus she'll get to travel to Corfu.

The Durrells will be a six-part series set in 1935, and is based on Gerald Durrell's trilogy of memoirs, including My Family and Other Animals.

Legendary actress and dancer Leslie Caron will also star in the series, along with popular Greek actor Alexis Georgoulis.

The series focuses on Louisa Durrell (Hawes), whose husband died years before and his money has almost run out. Her four children Larry (Josh O'Connor), Leslie (Callum Woodhouse), Margo (Daisy Waterstone) and Gerry (Milo Parker) are running riot and making life very difficult.

Louisa decides to escape from Britain for a new adventure in Corfu, taking her family with her. Georgoulis will play the dependable Spiro Halkiopoulos, while Caron will appear as Countess Mavrodaki, who hires Margo as her companion.
