Justin Moore Embraces Classic Country on New Song ‘Jesus and Jack Daniels’
Justin Moore has released the track list for his upcoming album Late Nights and Longnecks, along with the new song “Jesus and Jack Daniels,” a slice of classic country that makes good use of Moore’s native Arkansas warble.

Written by Moore with Paul Digiovanni, Chase McGill and Jeremy Stover, “Jesus and Jack Daniels” juxtaposes the compassionate religion of the narrator’s mother with the tough discipline of a father who enjoys his liquor. Case in point: when the singer’s brother is caught with weed, mom puts him on her prayer list,...

Five Things to Know About Brett Young, Country Music’s Newest Swoon-Worthy Star
Anna Friel in Without You (2011)
If you listen to country radio, you’ve no doubt heard Brett Young’s catchy No. 1 song “Sleep Without You,” and you probably can’t get it out of your head.

Country Singer Craig Strickland Found Dead
Country singer Craig Strickland has been found dead, more than a week after disappearing on a hunting trip in Oklahoma.

The star and his friend Chase Morland set off on a duck hunting adventure during winter storm Goliath on December 26, and after failing to return home, their disappearance was reported to police.

A search ensued and Morland's body and their capsized boat was found two days later.

On Monday (January 4), Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials confirmed to E! News the search for Strickland had ended in tragedy as his body was recovered in Kaw Lake. The Backroad Anthem singer was 29.

The sad news emerges a day after Strickland's wife, Helen, took to Instagram to assure fans and followers that she's still convinced her husband will be found alive.

'The Voice' poll: Who was best in Tuesday's knockout battles?'
Blake Shelton
According to your very own predictions, Blake Shelton did the unthinkable on Tuesday's knockout round of "The Voice." He kicked country singer Cody Wickline off the NBC reality show in the evening's first battle. -Break- In last week's poll (see link below), you predicted overwhelmingly that Wickline would be Shelton's champ for this season. On Tuesday, he faced off with the song "Til My Last Day" (Justin Moore) against fellow country artist Cory Kent White, who sang "Live Like You Were Dying" (Tim McGraw). Team Blake will move forward with White since no rival coach used a steal on Wickline. Related: Will Cody Wickline be the champ for coach Blake Shelton? During these knockout rounds this week and next, each coach has Nate Ruess (.fun) as an advisor and one steal to save a performer from elimination. Both Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams used up their only remaining steals for this season on Monday.

Kaufman closed out the show with applause that went on so long and so loud that the coaches could barely comment.
