Get Out writer-director Jordan Peele's new nightmare Us just hit Blu-ray yesterday, and today we have word that Peele has taken the time to disprove a solid fan theory out there. But before we get into the specifics, let it be known, that if you haven't yet had the chance to sit down and check out Peele's new horror movie, now might be the best time for you to turn away and find something else to do.
Needless to say from here on out, this article contains a few Spoilers. Now that spat and out of the way, the fan theory that Peele just debunked is one that says Evan Alex's character, Jason might be a Tethered himself. Jordan Peele says this about the fan theory.
"I have this kinda concept of Jason that he can sorta see through the veil. You can see these moments where he's observing his mother,...

Get Out writer-director Jordan Peele's new nightmare Us had its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival back on March 8th and has since been getting all kinds of praise. In fact, the appreciation for Peele's new horror movie might just be good enough that very soon here people will, you know, stop calling it a horror movie. But no worries fellow horror fans, Peele himself is coming to the movie's rescue already, making sure to let us all know over on Twitter that Us is 100% a horror movie.
Jordan Peele simply writes.
"Us is a horror movie."
That tweet may seem like a strange thing for Peele to put out there in the world, and it might look even more bizarre that we are reporting on it. But it's more than meets the eyes. Stick with me here. All of this silliness reached a fever pitch a few...

One of the most anticipated horror movies of this year is without a doubt Get Out writer-director Jordan Peele's upcoming doppelganger thriller Us. The new nightmare features Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, and Elizabeth Moss.
And in anticipation of the movie's release, we wanted to let you guys know that the flick is gracing the cover of the third issue of the recently reborn horror magazine, Fangoria. Better yet though, is the fact that the new issue will feature an interview with Peele conducted by - get this - Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson!
The cover, which you can check out below, features Nyong'o brandishing those strange golden scissors and looking ten-types of crazy. As far as the killer pairing of Paul Thomas Anderson Anderson and Jordan Peele goes, Fangoria editor-in-chief and Horror Noire executive producer Phil Nobile Jr. says the pairing came together...

Get Out Academy Award-winning writer-director Jordan Peele's new nightmare Us will be unleashed upon the masses next month. So far we have seen some stunning artwork from the horror-thriller and today is no different as we now have three new banner posters to share with you guys. The first features the family made up of
Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke along with Evan Alex, and Shahadi Wright Joseph smiling bright and holding hands. The next is a direct copy of the previous... but, you know, much more nightmare inducing as it now features the family (or their mysterious doppelgangers) against a blood-red background looking scary as all hell. And then those two new banners are accompanied with yet another, this time showcasing the movie's main star Nyong'o coming face-to-crazy-ass-face with her better/evil half.

Again this new set of banner posters are merely a few more drops in the...

Other than director Andres Muschietti's upcoming adaptation of Stephen King's It: Chapter Two I'd wager that the second most-anticipated horror movie heading to cinemas this year is Get Out writer-director Jordan Peele's follow-up feature Us starring Lupita Nyong'o, Madison Curry, Winston Duke, Evan Alex, Shahadi Wright, and Elisabeth Moss. And it looks like Box Office predictions back this up as today we have word that Peele's Us is tracking toward a $35 million opening weekend, with the potential to rise as high as $40 million.
For those of you keeping score at home, both of these figures would make for Peele's best opening weekend as his previous Blumhouse flick Get Out opened to the tune of $33.3M back in February 2017. But beating that film's opening weekend box office shouldn't be Universal's main concern. Trying to best Get Out's final tally of $176M domestic and $255.4M worldwide might be a better goal to strive for.

"It's like there's this black cloud hanging over us." This will give you the chills. A new international trailer has arrived for Jordan Peele's horror thriller Us, opening in theaters next month. This trailer is from Korea, and it's similar to the first trailer, but plays up all the quietness and unexplainable confusion of the horror elements way more than that first one. There's a number of really unsettling silent moments in this trailer where they just let the eeriness of this doppelgänger family build tension. I'd actually say this is the best trailer for Us yet. Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke star as husband and wife of a family who take their kids to their beach house, but mysterious people appear and things get really weird. Also starring Elisabeth Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Kara Hayward, Anna Diop, Tim Heidecker, Nathan Harrington Shahadi Wright Joseph, plus Evan Alex and...

"There's a family in our driveway." Universal has released a 60-second TV trailer for Super Bowl Sunday for Jordan Peele's new horror thriller Us, arriving in theaters everywhere next month. The first full trailer debuted on Christmas Day last year, and this is the only other footage they've released for this film. Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke star as husband and wife of a family who take their kids to their beach house, but some mysterious people arrive and suddenly things get really crazy. The cast includes Elisabeth Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Kara Hayward, Anna Diop, Tim Heidecker, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Nathan Harrington, plus Evan Alex and Madison Curry as their kids. I dig that they're not showing anything else or revealing anything major and keeping most of the film a big secret. Looking forward to this. Here's the second official trailer / extended TV spot for Jordan Peele's Us,...

"Stick with me, and I'll keep you safe." Universal has debuted the first trailer for Jordan Peele's new film Us, arriving in theaters in March. This follow-up to Peele's hugely successful Get Out is another horror thriller, with little known about the plot before this trailer. Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke stars as husband and wife of a family who take their kids to their beach house, but some mysterious people arrive and suddenly things get really crazy. The cast includes Elisabeth Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Kara Hayward, Anna Diop, Tim Heidecker, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Nathan Harrington, plus Evan Alex and Madison Curry as their kids. We've been waiting to get a look at this, and it's finally time, and Damn does this look gnarly. One hell of a freaky trailer, and I still don't know what's going on. Must watch. Here's the first official trailer (+ first posters) for Jordan Peele's Us,...
