The Part Two director hails his film's "unmatchable" popcorn bucket after Deadpool & Wolverine recently debuted its own.

Speaking with CTV's Etalk, Villeneuve accused Deadpool & Wolverine of being "tremendously jealous" of Part Two's sandworm-inspired bucket, insisting his movie beats it when it comes to design and shock value. "They are tremendously jealous of our bucket," Villeneuve said. "They tried their best to bring something horrific to the world, but the Dune bucket is unmatchable." You can soon watch Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga at home as George Miller’s epic prequel heads to digital and physical media.

We reported last week that Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga was heading to video-on-demand after just a month in cinemas. The film performed under Warner Bros.’ expectations, but the studio is hoping the film will find second wind at home.

It’s now confirmed that Furiosa will also be available digitally in the UK from 1st July. That’s roughly a week later than the US, where the film is out on digital tomorrow.

Warner Bros. has also announced the film’s 4K Uhd, Blu-ray and DVD debut. You can purchase Furiosa on physical media on 12th August and the 4K version comes with a smorgasbord of extras.

Mad Max fans will soon be able to own the latest installment in the George Miller-helmed film franchise. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is heading to digital and physical media after a disappointing run in theaters.

Per ComingSoon.net, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has announced that Furiosa will be available to buy or rent on digital platforms beginning June 25, 2024. The Mad Max: Fury Road prequel will then be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on August 13, 2024. Warner Bros. also confirmed that a "Black & Chrome" edition of Furiosa will be released later this year, complete with an introduction from Miller. The director previously released a "Black & Chrome" version of Fury Road to critical acclaim. Vanity Fair published an investigative piece chronicling “The Flash” star’s ongoing arrests and recent apology citing mental health concerns. Per Vanity Fair, Miller, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, has been struggling with various mental health issues for more than two years since the 2019 divorce of their parents and the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic.

Miller has been arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment and then second-degree assault and received a felony charge for burglary in August. The “Perks of Being a Wallflower” alum also has been at the center of child endangerment accusations, including allegations of grooming teenagers starting at age 12.
