Amruta, who was last seen in ‘Lootere’, shared her experience of working with Zakir on the series.

“I was inspired to work on this project because I’ve always wanted to meet and chat with Zakir whenever I watched his shows. Stand-up comedian Zakir Khan talked about his new video on ladies’ make-up and how just after knowing about a moisturizer he got the idea to make the video. He said: “Make-up is a mad topic and such a big universe, I went crazy when I got to know about a mere moisturizer. I don’t have a sister so neither sensitivity nor make-up knocked on our doors.”

He also added that YouTuber and internet personality Kusha Kapila also helped him while making the video.

“So I got help from my friends and learned about the make-up products and their applications. That’s how I learned about it and I even asked Kusha to help me understand how to apply kajal,” he added.

Comedian Zakir Khan revealed how during his first performance on stage, he was asked to leave within two minutes of his act. He added that it is never easy to make the audience laugh and there are a lot of challenges in front of a comedian to perform well.

He shared: “When I went on the stage to perform for the first time, I was removed from the stage within two minutes. In front of your friends and family, you might be funny because they know the context of your joke and could relate to it, but when it comes to a completely unknown audience, it is a huge task to narrate a story and make them laugh and only a true comedian can do that.”

Popular singer Jasbir Jassi recounted the first interview he gave in English during an international tour and how he misunderstood the questions and gave utterly wrong answers.

He said: “During my initial days when we went for one of our first show tours in California it was for the first Lady, Hillary Clinton. We had to do a fundraising show for her. There was a journo over there who approached me for an interview and I told him clearly that I am not at all good in English. However, he insisted and asked me to do a rehearsal before starting the interview so that it would be easy for me but when they came and started briefing me I was like it is too easy, and can do it easily without any problem.”

The ‘Dil Le Gayee Kudi’ singer goes on to share how he translated his popular Punjabi track into English for them.

Streaming giant Netflix on Saturday dropped the dreamy teaser of actress Nayanthara’s wedding with director Vigensh Shivan, which will be showcased in a documentary titled ‘Nayanthara – Beyond The Fairytale’.

Streaming platform Netflix on Saturday announced the slate of upcoming Indian content in its Tudum event which includes filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s directorial ‘Scoop’ starring Karishma Tanna as the crime reporter Jigna Vora, who was accused in journalist J. Dey’s murder.

Tudum India was hosted by comedian Zakir Khan and actor Prajakta Koli, where the teaser of ‘Scoop’ was shown. The film also stars Harman Baweja, Ravi Mahashabde and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.

‘Scoop’ is inspired by the biographical book from journalist and crime reporter Jigna Vora, ‘Behind The Bars In Byculla: My Days in Prison’, which chronicles her experiences after being accused in the murder of another reporter.

Lahore, Aug 22 (Ians) The Pakistan Cricket Board (Pcb) on Monday announced that Rawalpindi, Multan and Karachi will be the venues when England tour Pakistan for three Tests in December.

The three Tests will be played in England’s second half of the trip to the country and will also be their first Test tour of Pakistan since 2005. Before the Test tour, England will play seven T20Is in Karachi and Lahore from September 20 to October 2.

Ben Stokes’ side will open the Test tour of Pakistan with the series opener in Rawalpindi from December 1-5. Both sides will then move to Multan for the second Test from December 9-13 before travelling to Karachi for the third and final Test from December 17-21.

Actor Zakir Hussain returns as comedian-actor Zakir Khan's on-screen father in the second season of the popular sitcom "Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare". Hussain promises a lot of twists and turns in the father-son relationship in the new season.

"My role continues the same as Ronny's father but yes in this season there will be a lot of twist and turns in father and son's relationship. I'm playing a quintessential middle-class father. One will get to see the supportive and emotional side of the father towards his son," said Hussain.

Working with Zakir Khan, who plays the protagonist Ronny, is always "a great experience", Hussain said.

Sharing what the audience can expect from season 2, he shared: "In this season one will get to see how Ronny is taking things more seriously, which he was not earlier in the first season. Ronny will be more responsible but in his character and style.

Mumbai, March 22 (Ians) Zakir Khan has revealed the most interesting thing about being a stand-up comic. He says it is the instant reaction, which he describes as beautiful.

"Just the reaction time -- it is the most beautiful thing. You say a line and get a reaction in half a second and you know whether it has worked or not. It is real time," Zakir told Ians.

He added: "You can see the reaction in just half a second. It is the most beautiful thing."

Zakir is now back with the second season of his hit series "Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare", where the comedian essays Ronny Pathak, who tries leading a double life, and the outcome is hilarious.

How different will it be from the previous season?

"The previous season was the origin of 'Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare'. This season takes the story ahead and it is a linear season.
