In a society trying to figure out what is right and wrong, this documentary follows a political struggle and an existential quest.

As Winstead and her friends set out on the Magical Mystery Tour, a moving trip through states where access to abortion is masked in darkness, comedy becomes a weapon against systemic oppression in this case.

Quinta Brunson, Damon Lindelof, Ramy Youssef, Pamela Adlon, Charlie Brooker, and more medium-defining industry showrunners and writers are the featured guests on We Disrupt This Broadcast, a new podcast debuting this month from the Peabody Awards in partnership with the Center for Media & Social Impact ​​and distributed by public media organization Prx. Featuring intimate interviews with award-winning television creatives shaping the future of entertainment with disruptive new narratives and creative approaches, the monthly podcast is hosted by Gabe González as well as guest hosts Joyelle Nicole Johnson, Caty Borum (executive director of the Center for Media & Social Impact), and Jeffrey Jones (executive director of The Peabody Awards).

Peabodys To Spotlight TV Creatives In New Podcast ‘We Disrupt This Broadcast’; Damon Lindelof, Quinta Brunson Among First Guests

The Peabody Awards are teaming with the Center for Media & Social Impact to launch We Disrupt This Broadcast, a podcast featuring interviews with TV creatives who are “shaping the future of entertainment with disruptive new narratives and creative approaches.”

Damon Lindelof and Quinta Brunson are the first two guests of the pod, which is being co-hosted by comedian-actor-writers Gabe González and Joyelle Nicole Johnson, executive director of the Center for Media & Social Impact Caty Borum and Peabody executive director Jeffrey Jones.

The Lindelof and Brunson episodes are now live.

New episodes will be released on the second Thursday of every month. The podcast is distributed by public media organization Prx and is available free on-demand across all major podcast platforms.

Quinta Brunson, Damon Lindelof, Ramy Youssef, Pamela Adlon and Charlie Brooker are among the first guests to appear on the Peabody Awards’ new podcast “We Disrupt This Broadcast,” the org announced on Thursday. The podcast, which also comes from the Center for Media & Social Impact, premieres on April 11 ​​and is distributed by public media organization Prx.

The podcast will feature interviews with television creatives and is hosted by comedian Gabe González. Guest hosts include writer/comedian Joyelle Nicole Johnson, Center for Media & Social Impact exec director Caty Borum and Peabody Awards exec director Jeffrey Jones.
