Nh Studioz, which holds the largest film bank in India with rights of over 2500 feature films, acquired the Hindi theatrical copyrights of the bi-lingual film Michael. The movie is directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi and stars Vijay Sethupathi, Sundeep Kishan, Gautham Menon, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. I found myself wondering what our mainstream cinema would have looked like if the man had never written the book. What would ninety percent of our films be about? Would all the gym bodies who find employment as gangsters in the film industry be in some other charming profession? Perhaps they would at least be in jobs that didn’t require them to scowl so much. But Puzo did write that book, and Francis Ford Coppola did make a film based on it, and here we are, 50 years later, still trying to recreate some version of it.

Tamil and Telugu star Sundeep Kishan’s maiden pan-India movie ‘Michael’ directed by Ranjit Jeykodi, which had created a lot of interest with its first song, the Sid Sriram-sung ‘Neevuntey Chaalu’, will be released worldwide in all South Indian languages and Hindi on February 3.

Telugu star Sundeep Kishan is here to take audiences on an adrenaline trip with filmmaker Ranjit Jeykodi’s upcoming film ‘Michael’ which marks the maiden pan-India film of the actor. On Thursday, Nani released the film’s Telugu teaser, while Dhanush launched the Tamil version, Dulquer Salmaan unveiled the Malayalam version, and Rakshit Shetty did the honours of unveiling the Kannada teaser.
