Peter Mazzucco(I)
- Actor
- Second Unit Director or Assistant Director
- Producer
More than 20 years ago, Peter studied Dramatic Arts at the University of Toronto, where he designed, stage managed, directed, and performed in classic, modern as well as contemporary stage productions, including works by Shakespeare, Cole Porter, Tennesse Williams, Anton Chekov, George F. Walker, David French, Conni Massing, and William Mastrosimone. Upon completion of the program, he obtained dual citizenship (Canada and EU (Italy))with the intention to enhance his studies in England at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
Peter chose to stay in Canada and pursue a safe and comfortable domestic life instead. When the heartless and soulless corporate world chewed him up and spit him out, he realised that life is short and regrets are fruitless, so he stepped out of his comfort zone and made the resolute choice to pursue his dream to become an accomplished actor.
In his 40's, he had a renascence, and he began the process of redeveloping the needed skills in which to realise his goal. Peter has studied various acting techniques such as the Meisner Technique, and has attended Shakespeare workshops, voice-over training classes, as well as one on one coaching. He is using his triumphs and failures, and all the experiences in between, as fuel in his acting.
In a short period of time, Peter has obtained performance credits in independent films, television, web series', print work and live theatre.
Recently, Peter has established himself behind the scenes in the areas of casting, sound, post-production, writing and producing. He is in pre-production for a short film that he co-wrote, and will co-produce, as well as play the lead role.
