Nora Hawari

Nora Hawari is a first generation Muslim Arab American Filmmaker who produces her own original work centered around the Middle Eastern experience from a female perspective. She is a writer, actor, and director whose latest work Yallah Habibi has gone on to win Best Pilot at 7 film festivals as well as being an official selection at The Tribeca Film Festival 2019. Nora was also a selected participant in HBO's Creators Market in New York City where she pitched among several industry professionals. She is a trained Meisner actor who will be playing the first Muslim character on NBC Universal's Curious George this fall 2022. Her ultimate goal is to continue to create her work on a bigger scale expanding the representation of Arab Americans on and off screen.
