Growing up in the mountains of Georgia, she has deep roots in Appalachian folkways and art; training in fiddle, mandolin, singing and ukulele with some of Country & Bluegrass' most talented Old-time music artists including Kari Sickenberger, John Day, John Grimm, Jason Kinney, Ann Whitley and more. Opal is also a Montessori-Trained thinker, Folk artist, Social Media Influencer, Outdoor Enthusiast, and STEAMgeek. She is based in LA with international representation.
