Nick Pasqual, who appeared on How I Met Your Mother and Archive 81 and later produced on the comedy series National Day Riff, has been extradited from Texas to Los Angeles and has pled not guilty to attempted murder for stabbing his girlfriend.

Pasqual allegedly stabbed her multiple times after breaking into her home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Sunland around 4:30 a.m. on May 23, according to prosecutors.

She was left critically injured and had to be hospitalized.

Pasqual fled the state. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was detained at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office said.

Nick Pasqual, a background actor in “How I Met Your Mother,” was detained at the U.S. border after being charged with allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend, makeup artist Allie Shehorn, multiple times, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office confirmed.

On May 23 around 4:30 a.m., Pasqual allegedly broke into Shehorn’s Los Angeles home and stabbed her multiple times. She was then hospitalized with critical injuries. Shehorn’s credits include “Rebel Moon,” “Family Switch” and “Babylon.”

After the attack, Pasqual allegedly fled the scene and was later detained at a U.S./Mexico border check point in Sierra Blanca, Texas. The court issued an $1.07 million arrest warrant for the actor. You probably won’t remember the guy, but that says more than enough, eh? Nick Pasqual is an American actor who was, until today, best known for appearing as – basically – an extra in the Season 7 episode of How I Met Your Mother titled “Field Trip” (S07E05), where he interacted with Ted for a brief moment. That’s about it and had he not done what he is now accused of, we probably wouldn’t have heard of him ever again. But they guy supposedly tried to kill his girlfriend and then tried to flee to Mexico before being caught by the authorities in Texas. Great stuff.

A Hollywood special effects makeup artist has been taken out of intensive care at a Los Angeles hospital after being stabbed multiple times inside her home by a man her friends say is an ex-boyfriend.

Allie Shehorn was discovered bleeding out on May 23 at her home in the Shadow Hills neighborhood in Los Angeles by a friend, identified as Christine White in a GoFundMe page set up to help with her medical bills stemming from the attack.
