‘WWE 205 Live’ Review (Sept 4th 2020)
Image
Welcome to this week’s WWE 205 Live review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have three matches…for men. Hey, it’s time to kiss the ring, betch.

Match #1: Ariya Daivari def. Tehuti Miles The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Fanny pack and all, Tehuti Miles was still flashing his one-of-a-kind fashion as he strutted to the ring for his clash with Ariya Daivari on 205 Live. Once the bell rang, however, Miles also showed an improved focus, perhaps heeding the advice of The Brian Kendrick, who last week told Miles, “Drop the ego, and you’ll be a star.” While Daivari talked trash in the early goings, even going so far as to deride Miles as a “piece of trash,” the WWE Performance Center standout allowed his actions to speak for him, as he unleashed a flurry of strikes and twice sent Daivari sailing...

‘Nwa: Circle Squared 1×02 & 1×03′ Review
Colby Corino
Welcome to this double-sized review of Nwa: The Circle Squared, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have two episodes with…one match each!? What the f— did I just say!? Oh, kiss my ass.

Episode 1×02 Match #1: (Main Event) Colby Corino defeated George South

My Opinion: 1.8 out of 5 – Hey, this gave us George South on national television, so as bad as this was, at least it has historical value. This wasn’t very long and wasn’t very good.

Episode 1×03 Match #1: (Main Event) Freya The Slaya defeated Dani Jordyn

My Opinion: 1.4 out of 5 – This was s—. Dani was cool, but so is a warm island song. Wait, is it supposed to be a cool island song? Why would a warm island song cool a cold heart? Why does a cold heart need to be cooled, any-way? I could melt their heart with a cool island song.

‘Evolve 131: 10th Anniversary Celebration’ PPV Review
Welcome to this review of Evolve Wrestling’s 10th Anniversary show, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this is a special occasion event that is being aired on the WWE Network, likely to combat All Elite Wrestling’s “Fight For The Fallen” card that is airing at the same time. Let’s get right into this show, which has plenty of big matches to get to.

Match #1: Josh Briggs beat Anthony Greene

This was a nice match that didn’t do much for me, but did show both athletes vast potential, so I’d say that this was success, even with the low score.

My Opinion: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Stephen Wolf beat Sean Maluta, Curt Stallion and Harlem Brovado – Fatal Four Way Match

This was a nice way to get these four on the show, but it also just felt like a cheap way to get them there as well.

‘WWE 205 Live’ Review (5th March 2019)
Welcome to this week’s 205 Live review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have… Jessica Alba! Wait, no we don’t. We do have more tournament action to crown the new contender for the Wrestlemania match against the champion, Buddy Murphy.

Match #1: Oney Lorcan def. Humberto Carrillo The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

When Humberto Carrillo made his WWE 205 Live debut, it was to answer an Open Challenge from WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy. Despite a losing effort, he immediately impressed the WWE Universe, and has since become a rising force in the Cruiserweight division. However, in search for the best Cruiserweights in the world, WWE 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick invited Nxt Superstar Oney Lorcan to compete in the WWE Cruiserweight Title Tournament. As the match got underway, both Lorcan and Carrillo approached each other cautiously before an agile exchange that left neither with a clear advantage.
