Bip season 9 began filming in Mexico on June 6, and wrapped roughly two and a half weeks later. This means that the contestants had a very short amount of time to meet, fall in love, and get engaged. Last summer, several couples left the beach in relationships or engaged, but only one duo (Michael Allio and Danielle Maltby) is still together today. Jesse was there to witness it all, and he's now looking forward to the new season.

In an interview with E! News, Jesse previewed that the new season is, "wild," and offered advice to the Bachelor in Paradise season 9 hopefuls. Jesse said that they shouldn't come in, "laser-focused" to meet certain people, because those plans never usually come to fruition. Instead, he thinks that contestants should be open-minded and go on dates.

Bachelor in Paradise season 7 couple Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs have announced the sex of their baby after a sweet reveal. Another love triangle was in the midst of exploding, as Karl Smith and Chasen Nick fought over Deandra Kanu. Karl had given Deandra a bracelet as a gift to show his affection, and Nick opted to give her a necklace to one-up the gesture. Deandra returned the bracelet to Karl, noting that she didn’t want to lead him on.

After dealing with more off-screen drama than occurs even down in Mexico, the tides of Bachelor Nation have calmed down and “Bachelor in Paradise” will be back with a brand new season this summer.

Returning for the first time in two years, following the industry-wide Covid-shutdown that halted production last year on “Bachelor in Paradise,” ABC’s guilty pleasure summer series will launch its seventh season on Aug. 16, bringing back a slew of fan-favorite alums who will continue their journey for love.

The new cast is comprised of 19 singles from past “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” seasons — who will then be joined by more contestants showing up as surprise additions throughout Season 7 — at a romantic resort in Mexico.

Typically, at this point in a season of “The Bachelorette,” viewers have a fairly strong idea of who the leading lady will pick as her future fiancé. But with Tayshia Adams’ two-part finale beginning tonight, a winner isn’t quite as obvious as it has been in past seasons.

Adams stepped into “The Bachelorette” as a replacement original star Clare Crawley, who found love early with contestant Dale Moss, therefore departing the season just a few weeks in. This was an unprecedented turn of events for the dating show. But host Chris Harrison says that the switch-up isn’t necessarily the reason why a clear winner hasn’t emerged.
