Biography

Nina Yong is an Asian & African American Actress, Producer and Entrepreneur. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she grew up with Korean values and traditions due to her mother and grandmother being from Seoul, South Korea.

Nina quickly developed a deep passion for the arts beginning with musical instruments then drawing, painting and sculpting. Trying to discover her true passion Nina pursued a career in Culinary Arts where she attended Le Cordon Bleu and graduated in 2011. Soon after she started her career as a professional chef even winning awards such as 1st Place in a Atlanta "Top Chef" Competition. and "Chef of the Month "for her cuisines, Nina discovered that being a chef wasn't her true calling and walked away at the height of her career in 2013.

Nina Yong quickly made a name for herself in the film industry. Going from booking 11 projects within her first year to working on movies such as " To Hell and Back" and "Heavy Water" to her most recent work, television series " Saints and Sinners". Her most notable work came when she appeared alongside singer/songwriter Tyrese Gibson and singer Ceelo Green's music video/short film "Legendary".
