Betty Cantrell

Former Miss America Betty Cantrell Feels Like "Cinderella" in Sneak Peek of 'Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta' (Exclusive)
All she needs is a carriage! Beauty queen Betty Cantrell is blown away while trying on a gorgeous white gown in Life & Style's exclusive clip of the upcoming episode of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta. Miss America 2016 traveled to Bridals by Lori in Sandy Springs to pick out her perfect ensemble for her big day. Watch the video above to see our exclusive sneak peek! Betty was absolutely mesmerized by the lace bodice and flowing bottom of the gown designed by Lazaro. "This dress is beautiful. I feel like Cinderella," she said. "I love how fitted it is at the waist, and it's so delicate at the top." Even though it looked absolutely stunning on the blonde bombshell, she wasn't sure if it was the dress — a struggle us ladies know so well. Betty modeled the number for her loved ones, so she could get their input. This dynamic duo is back in action!

Review: Woody Allen's "Bananas" (1971); Twilight Time Blu-ray Release
“There Are No Bananas In It”

By Raymond Benson

Woody Allen’s second feature film as director/writer/actor is ranked #69 on AFI’s 100 greatest comedies list… and it is indeed a very funny, zany picture (arguably one of Allen’s funniest) that today says more about the early 1970s than perhaps was intended at the time. But would millennials find Bananas funny in this day and age? Would they get the jokes? Can an audience that hasn’t “grown up” with Woody Allen movies get past what has been said about his personal life since the 1990s? I can’t answer those questions. But I can place Bananas within the context of when it was released and attest that it still makes me laugh.

At this point in his career, Allen was mostly interested in making low budget movies with little substance, but with lots of gags. He was...

Who Should Join The Defenders In Season 2?
The Defenders Season 1 hits Netflix on Friday, and I think we can safely say that there will be a Season 2, particularly since the next seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist have already been announced. Early reviews of The Defenders are hitting Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, and the word is very positive overall. So, since it's never too early to speculate, let's talk about who should join the team going forward.

Marvel's The Defenders comic book debuted in 1971 by creator Roy Thomas. The team was initially made up of Dr. Strange, Namor, and The Hulk (who were soon joined by Valkyrie and Silver Surfer), and their early focus was very much in the Cosmic realm. In the team's first comic book arc, Dr. Strange teams with Sub-Mariner and the Hulk to protect the Earth from invasion by Lovecraftian interplanar beings known as the Undying Ones and their leader,...
