Nakia Lawrence

Nakia Nichole Lawrence is an Atlanta native who powerfully extends into comedic and dramatic roles. Since beginning her professional acting career in 2012, Nakia has brought unforgettable characters to life on both stage and screen, captivating audiences with razor-sharp comedic timing, raw emotional depth, and magnetic presence. A proud graduate of Jackson State University (B.A. in Theatre) and Regent University (M.A. in Theatre), Nakia honed her craft through rigorous training, completing a prestigious professional acting internship at New Stage Theatre during the 2011-2012 season. She's toured nationally staged productions written by Donald Gray, Ruby Lawrence-Battle, and the late Zuri Craig. Her recent work includes portraying one of the lead characters, Daniella, in the hit television series "Mas House", appearing alongside Patrice Lovely. Whether delivering laughs or exploring layered dramatic roles, Lawrence brings truth, fire, and professionalism to every role she portrays.
